Sink My Bricks! is a co-op pirate roguelite for PC that now has a Steam page and a first trailer, and it has no release date or price yet. Developer Sleepy Amigos, a team of three, announced the page on November 2, 2026, and you can wishlist it on Steam.

The pitch is simple: sail a ship made of bricks, raid brick islands, and watch everything around you fall apart when it is hit.

What is Sink My Bricks!?

It is a first person, co-op pirate PvE roguelite built in Unreal Engine 5. You can play solo or with a crew of up to four players. According to the developer, islands, ships and the sea itself are all built from bricks, and all of them can be destroyed.

The working title was “Shiver My Bricks!”, and the studio publishes the game itself.

How does a run work?

A run lasts about an hour, according to the press release. It covers three procedurally generated archipelagos, each ending with a boss, followed by a finale against the Flying Dutchman. Weather gets worse as the run goes on, and the toughest enemies show up at night.

Here is what players do during a run:

  • Raid archipelagos and board enemy ships
  • Patch holes in their own hull in the middle of a fight
  • Modify existing ships or build their own from scratch
  • Respawn at the ship, which is the only respawn point while it stays afloat

What is unusual about the combat?

There is no health bar. Hits knock off limbs, which can be reattached. A lost arm can be replaced with a prosthetic or with the paw of a defeated monster, according to the developer.

Between runs, players unlock weapons, ship modules, ship building parts and artifacts that change the rules of the game.

Prices

No price has been announced. The developer says the price will be announced later, and the Steam page only offers a wishlist button for now. Nothing in the sources we read mentions an early access phase, a demo or any special edition.

Who it suits

Co-op groups looking for a new pirate game. Up to four players can share a ship, patch holes together and raid islands, which suits friends who like a shared job on the same deck.

Roguelite fans who like short runs. A run of about an hour, with unlocks carried between runs, fits players who want progress without a long campaign. The set structure of three archipelagos and a final boss gives each run a clear end.

Solo players. The developer says the game can be played alone, so a crew is not required. The sources do not say how the game scales for one player, so that is worth checking before you buy.

Anyone who enjoys destruction systems. Everything being built from bricks and breakable is the main hook, along with the limb loss and repair system in place of health bars.

What is still unknown?

The release date is not announced, and neither is the price. The sources name PC through Steam only, and no console versions are mentioned. We also found no official word on how the game handles online matchmaking or whether crews need friends to join.

One more point on naming. Some headlines describe the game as a LEGO pirate game, but none of the pages we read says it is an official LEGO product. It is an independent game with brick styled worlds from Sleepy Amigos, and readers should not assume a licence from the brick look.

For audience size, the developer says its development videos have passed 10 million views across platforms and that more than 50,000 people follow the project on social media. Those are the studio’s own figures.

What should you do next?

Open the Steam page for Sink My Bricks! and add it to your wishlist. Steam will notify you when a release date or price is announced, which is the next piece of news worth watching. The developer’s website, sinkmybricks.com, is the other place to look for updates.
