The Nespresso Vertuo Next by De’Longhi is a one-button capsule machine that Canadian shoppers have been seeing in Amazon.ca’s Prime Big Deal Days lists this month. Daily Hive’s roundup of home gadget deals, dated Oct 5, 2026, showed a Nespresso Vertuo Next in White Chrome at $99, down from $249.99.

Here is what the maker says about the model, and what to check before you buy.

What De’Longhi lists

De’Longhi’s Canadian store lists the white model, ENV120W, at $229.00. The page shows a dollar sign without naming the currency, but it is the English Canadian storefront.

The key specs on that page:

  • Water tank: 37.2 oz
  • Five cup sizes: Alto (414 ml), Mug (230 ml), Gran Lungo (150 ml), Double Espresso (80 ml) and Espresso (40 ml)
  • Controls: a single button, with no display
  • Milk system: none
  • Weight: 9.45 lb
  • Power supply: 120 V, 60 Hz
  • Eco mode: 2 min
  • Extras: mobile app connectivity, with the option to personalize and memorize drinks

The page also advertises a 3 year warranty and 30-day returns.

The $99 listing

Daily Hive’s article listed the Nespresso Vertuo Next White Chrome at $99 against a regular price of $249.99 on Amazon.ca. The article does not say who makes that unit, so it may not be the same version as the De’Longhi model above. Check the maker, colour and what is in the box before comparing prices.

Nespresso Canada also sells the Vertuo Next in other finishes on its own site, described as a coffee maker for “a generous crema” and brewing sizes from espresso to large coffees.

Is it worth it

At $229.00 the Vertuo Next sits in the middle of the pod machine market. Its specs show a simple design: one button, a 37.2 oz tank, five sizes and no milk frother. If you mostly drink black coffee or espresso and want a compact machine, those basics may be enough.

At $99 the sums look better, since the machine costs less than half of the $249.99 regular price Daily Hive quoted. The catch with any capsule machine is that you buy the capsules from Nespresso afterwards, and the sources here do not give capsule prices, so the running cost is the figure to work out yourself.

What it means for you

Canadian readers can see the $229.00 list price on De’Longhi’s Canadian store and the Amazon.ca sale price reported by Daily Hive. Sale prices can change at any time, and the $99 figure was reported at the time of writing of that article, so confirm the current price on the Amazon.ca page. The sources do not state US pricing.
