Amazon.com is selling the Nothing Ear (3a) wireless earbuds for $79 in Black, Pink, White and Yellow as of October 29, 2026. The earbuds launched this past summer at $99, so the price is 20% lower, a figure 9to5Toys gives in its report. This is a United States price: Amazon.ca showed C$139.99 for the same earbuds on the day we checked.

The Ear (3a) is Nothing’s budget noise cancelling pair, introduced this past summer. The Amazon.com listing says the earbuds ship from and are sold by Amazon.com, and Nothing’s own US store also showed $79 on its product page.

What do the Ear (3a) earbuds offer?

Nothing’s page and the Amazon listing give these details:

  • Driver: a 12 mm driver with Hi-Res Audio support.
  • Noise cancelling: wideband active noise cancellation of up to 45 dB, according to the Amazon listing.
  • Battery: 42 hours of battery life, according to Nothing’s product page.
  • Connection: Bluetooth 6.0 and dual-device connection for iOS and Android, per the Amazon listing.
  • Extras: Audio Snapshot saves up to a minute of what you hear, and call recording stores up to two hours of calls and meetings.
  • Colours: Black, Pink, White and Yellow on the Amazon listing.

Nothing’s page does not state an IP rating, so check the maker before buying them for workouts.

How much do they cost in Canada and the US?

Canada comes first. We did not find a discounted Canadian price. The Amazon.ca listing showed C$139.99 on October 29, and we did not confirm Nothing’s own Canadian list price, so we cannot say how that compares. Treat this deal as a US offer for now.

In the United States, Amazon.com shows $79 against the $99 launch price. 9to5Toys reports that this matches the lowest price it has tracked at Amazon since the earbuds launched, and calls it an all-time low at Amazon. It also says Black Friday could bring a little more savings, but guesses that the price will not fall much further. That is the outlet’s expectation, not a promise from Amazon or Nothing.

These are prices at the time of writing. No end date is shown, so they can change at any time. Because Nothing’s own US store lists the same $79, the price is not an Amazon exclusive.

Is it worth it at $79?

At $79 the Ear (3a) sits in budget territory but lists features such as 45 dB noise cancelling, a 12 mm driver and 42 hours of battery. We have not tested them, so these are claims from Nothing and the listing. 9to5Toys, which says it tested the earbuds, called them some of the best buds you can buy for the price.

How does it compare with other Nothing audio?

For a bigger step up, Nothing also sells the Headphone (1) over-ear model, which Amazon.com listed at $199.00 when we checked. It is a different product: over-ear headphones rather than in-ear buds. If you want the cheapest way into Nothing’s sound, the Ear (3a) at $79 is the one this story covers.

Who it suits

Shoppers in the US who want ANC under $80. This is the group the price is aimed at, since the discount applies to Amazon.com.

Android and iPhone users who switch devices. The dual-device connection lets one pair work with a phone and a laptop or tablet.

Commuters who forget to charge. 42 hours of battery per Nothing’s page is a long run between charges.

Who should wait or skip. Readers in Canada should compare the Amazon.ca listing, which showed C$139.99, before ordering from the US. Anyone who needs a confirmed water resistance rating should look elsewhere, because Nothing’s page does not state one.

What should you check before buying?

Confirm the colour and that the listing is for the Ear (3a) from 2026, since Nothing also sells other earbuds. The Amazon.com page lists a one year manufacturer warranty. The pages we read did not give an end date for the $79 price.

Open the Amazon.com listing and check the price in your cart before you pay.
