Amazon.com in the United States lists the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 256GB in Titanium Gray at $799.00, according to the product page we checked on October 28, 2026. Samsung’s own US store lists the same 256GB model at $1,299.99.

This is a US offer. The phone is new, sold and shipped by Amazon.com, and it showed as in stock when we looked. We could not open a matching page on Amazon.ca, so Canadian readers should treat this as a US price only. 9to5Toys, which reported the drop, calls it the lowest price Amazon has ever offered on this phone.

What does the listing cover?

The Amazon title describes an unlocked Android phone sold with a US one year warranty. These are the details on the listing:

  • Storage and memory: 256 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM
  • Display: 6.9 inches, 2960 x 1440 resolution
  • Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite
  • Battery: 5000mAh
  • Software listed: Android 15 with One UI 7
  • Extras: built-in S Pen, 2025 model year

Amazon’s description also highlights Now Brief, Audio Eraser for cleaner video audio, and the Smart Switch tool for moving photos, apps, contacts and messages from an older phone to this one.

How does $799 compare with the list price?

The fair comparison is the maker’s own price, not the crossed out figure a store might show. Samsung’s US store lists the 256GB model at $1,299.99, against $799.00 at Amazon.com.

Where Price Note
Amazon.com (US) $799.00 New, unlocked, sold by Amazon.com, checked October 28, 2026
Samsung US store $1,299.99 Samsung’s price for the 256GB model
9to5Toys $1,300 The launch price the site quotes

9to5Toys says the phone launched at $1,300, so today’s price is $500 lower. It also notes that the newer Galaxy S26 Ultra with 256GB went up to $1,400 recently, which puts the S25 Ultra deal $600 under it. Both numbers are the outlet’s own framing. Prices are the figures shown at the time of writing and can change at any time.

Who it suits

Shoppers in the US upgrading from an older phone. A 6.9 inch screen, 12 GB of RAM and a built-in S Pen is still a lot of phone, and the seller here is Amazon.com itself rather than a third party. If your current phone is three or four years old, this price is the main reason to look.

Anyone who wants the newest Samsung hardware. This is last generation. 9to5Toys points to deals on the Galaxy S26 Ultra at $250 off and on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 at $200 off for people who want something newer, and those cost much more. Readers in Canada should also skip this listing, since the page was not available on Amazon.ca when we checked.

What to check before buying. The listing is for the US model with a US one year warranty, so confirm it supports your carrier before you order. It is the 256GB version in Titanium Gray; the 512GB model on Amazon.com was listed at $1,100.00 when we looked. Amazon also sells renewed S25 Ultra units, which are not the same offer, so make sure the page says new and the seller is Amazon.com.

What is still unknown

Neither Amazon.com nor 9to5Toys gives an end date for the price, and neither states how many units are left. We have not tested the phone ourselves. We also cannot say whether other colours or storage sizes will drop to the same level. If the price on the page is different when you open it, go by the page.

Next step

Open the Amazon.com listing and check that the price reads $799.00, that the seller is Amazon.com and that the condition is new. Then compare it with the $1,299.99 on Samsung’s US page and read the 9to5Toys write up for its view on the timing.
