What you get
The Galaxy Watch8 is Samsung’s entry level smartwatch for 2025, according to Expert Reviews, which tested the 44 mm model. It comes in 40 mm and 44 mm sizes, and the version on sale here connects over Bluetooth only; a separate LTE model costs more.
Expert Reviews reported these key points:
- A slim case with a depth of 8.6mm, which the outlet found comfortable and good for heart rate accuracy
- A battery rated for up to 30 hours in its best mode
- 5ATM water resistance and 32GB of storage for apps and music
- GPS, ECG, body composition and an antioxidant reading, plus Gemini support, a microphone and a speaker
- A new Running Coach feature, which Samsung labels as beta
There is no rotating bezel on this model. Instead, you can trace a finger around the edge of the screen to move through menus, or swipe as usual.
Who it suits
This deal fits Android phone owners, and especially Samsung Galaxy phone owners, who want a slim everyday smartwatch with fitness and sleep tracking. Expert Reviews noted that some of the most advanced health features, such as ECG and blood pressure, require a paired Samsung phone, and that blood pressure needs regular calibration with a standard cuff.
Skip it if you want multi day battery life. Expert Reviews compared its upkeep to an Apple Watch and said serious runners may prefer a Garmin.
Before you buy
Check the size and connection type: this price is for the 44 mm Bluetooth model in Graphite. The 40 mm, silver and LTE versions are priced separately. The Galaxy Watch8 also uses Samsung’s own strap fitting, so plan on official or compatible bands. Finally, the Watch8 launched in 2025, so compare it with any newer Galaxy Watch on Samsung’s site before you decide.
