Instant Pot makes it under SKU 140-0068-01 as a 13-function appliance with a 6.5 quart pot, 1500 W of power and a black finish. Best Buy Canada and Amazon.ca both list it, while the maker’s own product page shows no price at all.
What does it do?
Instant Pot says the one lid handles both pressure cooking and air frying, with no attachments to swap in. A protective inner cover shields the air frying element while the cooker is under pressure.
The 13 functions listed by the maker are pressure cook, air fry, slow cook, steam, saute, roast, bake, broil, dehydrate, sous vide, make yogurt, proof bread and keep warm. The company also points to its EvenCrisp technology, which it says gives the crunch of deep frying with 95% less oil, and claims cooking up to 70% faster than traditional slow cooking. Small households and families of up to six. The 6.5 quart pot is sized for up to 6 servings, which covers weeknight dinners and some batch cooking. If you regularly cook for more, the larger Duo Crisp listed on Amazon.ca may fit better.
