Our Place sells the Wonder Oven, a compact 6-in-1 air fryer and toaster oven, for C$179.99 on its Canadian site, with a larger version at C$295. The oven keeps turning up on shopping lists: Global News put it in a September 11 roundup of viral kitchen appliances, and US outlets covered a discount on it during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days on October 6 and 7, 2026.

What the Wonder Oven is

The standard Wonder Oven does six jobs: air fry, bake, roast, toast, broil and reheat. Our Place lists these specs:

  • Capacity of 12 L, enough for four slices of toast, 2.04 kg of chicken or a 9 in. pizza
  • 1400 W at 120 V, with a temperature range of 200 to 450°F and a timer that runs up to 60 minutes
  • Exterior size of 29.5 cm high, 26.9 cm deep and 29.2 cm wide, at 5.3 kg
  • Stainless steel body, with a nonstick ceramic coated aluminum bake pan, an air fryer basket and a wire rack

Our Place says the interior and the included accessories are made without PFAS, including PTFE. The company also says its steam infusion feature uses 1 to 2 teaspoons of water, that preheating takes under 2.5 minutes and is up to 75% faster than a traditional oven, and that cooking is up to 30% faster. It adds that air frying uses up to 70% less oil than traditional frying. These are the maker’s claims, not test results.

The Large Wonder Oven is the bigger sibling at C$295. Our Place lists it at 28 L and 1700 W, with room for a 30.5 cm pizza.

Why it is getting attention

Global News included the oven in its list of eight viral kitchen appliances for weeknight meals, with a link to an Amazon listing. Tom’s Guide also calls the Wonder Oven viral, and its managing editor wrote that it replaced her separate toaster, air fryer and microwave in a small kitchen.

On October 6, Gear Patrol reported the oven at US$140, which it described as 24 percent off the US$185 list price during Prime Big Deal Days. Those are US prices. The sources we read do not report a matching Canadian discount, so Canadian shoppers should check the Our Place Canada price against any retailer listing. Our Place’s Canadian page also mentions a 100 Day Trial and free returns.

What it means for readers

The Wonder Oven suits one or two people in a small kitchen who want one appliance in place of a toaster and a separate air fryer. PureWow compared it with a Cuisinart air fryer toaster oven that costs US$350 and found it smaller and cheaper, and it scored the Wonder Oven well for ease of use.

There are trade-offs. PureWow notes that the small size may not suit large families and that the accessories need hand washing. Flavour Network, in its review, found that cooking times for frozen food varied from one attempt to the next, that the oven gives off a fair amount of heat and that it costs more than many other air fryers.

Before ordering, decide between the 12 L standard model and the 28 L Large Wonder Oven, and check that your counter has room for it and a 120 V outlet. The oven also comes in several colours, so confirm the colour on the listing.
