The Cuisinart PerfecTemp Cordless Electric Kettle, model CPK-17P1, is listed at $99.99 on Amazon.com, against the $129.95 Cuisinart shows on its own site. It holds 1.7 liters, runs at 1500 watts and has six preset temperatures aimed at tea and French press coffee.

Cuisinart sells the kettle in stainless steel and tags it as a Customer Favorite on its product page. It is part of the early Black Friday wave that opened on Amazon on November 1, 2026, and Tom’s Guide listed it at $99 in a roundup of home and kitchen deals published on November 3.

Why is this kettle getting attention now?

Two things line up. According to PopSci, Amazon’s early Black Friday deals went live on November 1, with new ones added every day and most running through the end of the month. A kettle is the kind of useful, low risk purchase people tend to pick up before the holidays, either for the kitchen at home or as a gift.

The second reason is the price gap. Tom’s Guide lists the PerfecTemp at $99 against a $129 list price, and the Amazon listing we checked on November 8 showed $99.99 with $129.95 as the list price. That is the same $129.95 Cuisinart asks on its own site.

What does the PerfecTemp CPK-17P1 offer?

Cuisinart describes it as a kettle that protects tea from over brewing, with presets tuned to each variety. The key specs from the maker’s page:

  • Capacity: 1.7 liters
  • Power: 1500 watts for fast heat up
  • Six presets: Delicate Tea, Green Tea, White Tea, Oolong Tea, French Press, and Black and Herbal Teas
  • Keep Warm: 30 minutes
  • Memory: the kettle can be lifted off the base for 2 minutes without shutting off or losing its place
  • Safety: auto shutoff and boil dry protection
  • Warranty: 3 year limited

Cuisinart also lists a concealed heating element to prevent mineral buildup, a removable and cleanable scale filter, a blue backlit water window, a 360 degree swivel cordless connector and a stay-cool nonslip handle. The company says the kettle is BPA free.

How does it compare with other Cuisinart kettles?

The same tea kettle range on Cuisinart’s site includes a ClearTemp glass kettle and a double-walled electric kettle, both in the 1.7 liter class. We did not read their specs or prices closely, so the comparison here is limited. What sets the PerfecTemp apart on paper is the set of six named presets, the 30 minute keep warm and the memory feature. A glass model may appeal if you want to see the water, which the PerfecTemp only offers through its backlit window.

Prices

Every price below is in US dollars, as the sources state it. We have not converted anything.

  • Cuisinart.com: $129.95, with free shipping on orders of $35 or more
  • Amazon.com listing on November 8, 2026: $99.99, with $129.95 shown as the list price
  • Tom’s Guide, November 3, 2026: $99 against a $129 list price
  • Replacement base from Cuisinart: $32.95
  • Replacement scale filter from Cuisinart: $10.95

These are prices at the time of writing. None of the sources gives an end date for the Amazon price, so assume it can change at any time. We found no Canadian, British or other local price in the pages we read, so check your own Amazon store before you count on the same discount.

Who it suits

Tea drinkers. The six presets cover green, white, oolong and black and herbal teas, which is the whole point of the design. If you brew more than one kind of tea, the preset removes the guesswork about temperature.

Coffee press users. A French Press preset is built in, so the same kettle can serve a morning pot of coffee and an afternoon cup of tea. Pairing it with a burr grinder is a common next step, which is why one is listed below.

Gift buyers. At $99.99 the kettle sits well under the $129.95 list price, and a three year limited warranty from Cuisinart gives some comfort for a present.

Who should wait. If you only boil water for instant meals, a simpler kettle will do the job for less. If you want a glass body or touchscreen controls, look at the glass models in Cuisinart’s range first.

What is still unknown

The sources do not say how long the Amazon price will last, whether stores outside the United States show the same discount, or what voltage and plug apply to units sold elsewhere. We have not read independent test results for this model, so noise and long term durability are open questions.

Before you buy, open the Cuisinart product page to confirm the model number CPK-17P1, then compare it with the live Amazon listing.
