Amazon Canada is selling the Bose SoundLink Home Speaker in Light Silver for C$199.00 on November 8, 2026, while Bose’s own Canadian store lists the speaker at C$299.00. Amazon’s page shows 33 percent savings, and the speaker is sold and shipped by Amazon.ca itself.
The SoundLink Home is a compact Bluetooth speaker meant to move around the house rather than to the beach. Bose gives it up to 9 hours of battery life, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB-C input for wired sources. We checked the Amazon and Bose pages on the day of writing. Neither shows an end date for the Amazon price, so it can change at any time.
What is the Bose SoundLink Home?
According to Bose, the speaker brings “standout sound from a size that fits in”, with design touches meant to look at home on a shelf. The details on Bose’s Canadian page:
- Wireless: Bluetooth 5.3 and up to 9 hours of battery life, measured by Bose with Bluetooth audio at 50% volume
- Wired input: USB-C input for sources such as a laptop
- Stereo: two SoundLink Home speakers can be paired in Stereo Mode for left and right channels, with a press of the shortcut button on each
- Calls: built-in mic for calls and for reaching the phone’s voice assistant
- Size: 1.93 lb, 8.5” W x 4.4” H x 2.3” D
Bose’s comparison table lists no party mode and no water or dust resistance rating for this model. We have not tested the speaker, so sound quality claims here are Bose’s, not ours.
How has it been priced before?
9to5Toys reported on August 5, 2025 that the speaker, which launched in October 2024, hit a $199 low at Amazon in the United States, against a regular $229 after a price increase. Bose’s US site lists the speaker at $229.00 today. Those are United States figures and are not comparable with the Canadian prices below.

Amazon’s own list price line reads $299.00, which matches Bose’s Canadian figure, and Amazon shows 33 percent savings. We compare the deal with Bose’s price on its own store, not with a crossed out price alone. Bose Canada also shows a 30-day return policy, a price match promise and complimentary ground shipping on in-stock orders of $69 or more, which are Bose’s own terms and do not carry over to an Amazon order. This price applies to Amazon.ca only. Other Amazon stores set their own prices, and we did not verify them.
Who it suits
Apartment and bookshelf listeners. A speaker of 1.93 lb that runs on a battery for up to 9 hours can sit on a shelf, then follow you from the bedroom to the kitchen without a cable.
Laptop and desk users. The USB-C input lets the speaker act as a wired speaker for a computer, according to Bose, so it is not limited to Bluetooth.
Anyone planning a stereo pair. Two speakers can be paired in Stereo Mode for left and right channels. Buying two is a decision for later, so check the price of each at checkout.
Who should skip it. If you want a party mode that spreads one song across several rooms, Bose’s table says this model does not have one. If you need a speaker for pools, beaches or camping, the table lists no water or dust rating, and a waterproof model such as the SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen) is a better match.
What is still unknown
Amazon does not say how long the price will last or whether there is a limit per customer. The sources we read do not state the speaker’s output power or charging time, so look at the specification block before ordering. Bose lists several colours on its own store, and the Amazon listing we checked is Light Silver, so confirm the colour in your cart. We could not confirm any Amazon price for the same ASIN in the United States, because the US page showed no price when we checked.
