Amazon’s US store lists the Bose QuietComfort Headphones at $169.00, against the $359.00 list price shown on the same page and on Bose’s own US site. Amazon’s page marks the saving at 53 percent, and the seller is Amazon.com itself.

The listing we checked on November 6, 2026 is the Cypress Green limited edition of the original QuietComfort Headphones, the over-ear model that Bose has since followed with a 2nd Gen version. Bose’s own US page showed the same $169.00 price for the Sandstone colour, so the lower price is not limited to one store.

What do the headphones offer?

Bose lists these points on its product page:

  • Active noise cancellation, with Quiet and Aware listening modes
  • Battery life of 24 hours
  • Quick charge: 15 minutes of charging gives 2.5 hours of playback
  • No Bose Immersive Audio and no Bose CustomTune, both of which the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) on the same page list as included

TechRadar, in a November 2025 deal article on the same model, added that the headphones have a wired audio cable option, multipoint connectivity and a Bose app. It also pointed out limited EQ settings as a drawback and quoted its own four-star review verdict that they are “not top-tier, but still solid.”

Is the $169.00 price a real discount?

The comparison here is with the maker’s own list price, not a store’s crossed-out figure. Bose’s US page shows an original price of $359.00 and a banner reading “Save $190 when you purchase by November 8, 2026.” That end date belongs to Bose’s own store. The Amazon page we read states no end date, so the price there can change at any time.

Tom’s Guide listed the Amazon price on November 6, 2026, at $169 down from $359, and said the newer 2nd Gen model is out but that the older headphones do “basically the same thing for less.” A year earlier, TechRadar reported $169.99 on the Black version as a record low for that Black Friday, with other colours at $199 and the previous low just under $200. That is history, not a claim about today: we have not seen a source that calls the current price a record.

Prices

  • Amazon US (sold and shipped by Amazon.com): $169.00 for the Cypress Green limited edition, with a list price of $359.00 on the page
  • Bose US store: $169.00 current price, $359.00 original price, with the “Save $190” offer message running to November 8, 2026
  • Colour matters: in the 2025 TechRadar article the Black version was cheaper than the other colours, so check the colour on the page before you order

All figures are US dollars on US store pages at the time of writing. We did not check stores in other countries, and we have no price for the 2nd Gen model.

Who it suits

Commuters and frequent travellers. A 24 hour battery and a Quiet mode for noise cancelling cover long flights and train rides, and 15 minutes on the charger gives 2.5 hours of playback when you forget to charge.

Gift shoppers. An over-ear model from a well known audio brand at $169.00 is an easy present, and the Amazon listing is shipped and sold by Amazon.com, which keeps returns simple.

Anyone who wants tuning options. Skip these if you want Immersive Audio or CustomTune, which this model does not have, or detailed EQ, which TechRadar calls limited.

Who should wait. If you want the 2nd Gen version specifically, this listing is the older model, and none of our sources gives a price for the newer one.

What is still unknown?

Amazon shows no end date or stock level for the offer, and we do not know whether other colours sit at the same price. The Bose page showed Sandstone at $169.00, while the Amazon page we read was the Cypress Green limited edition.

Next step

Open the Amazon listing, confirm the colour and the “Ships from and sold by Amazon.com” line, and compare the total with Bose’s own US store before you pay. Because prices can change at any time, check again on the day you buy.
