The Ninja Blast, an 18 oz cordless personal blender that recharges over USB-C, was reported at $40 on Amazon in the United States on November 2, 2026, while Ninja’s own page lists the black model at $69.99.
Ninja makes the Blast in several colours. Ninja Kitchen sells the black BC151BK, and retailers such as Best Buy and The Home Depot list the same model. The Amazon.com listing LAZY GADGET checked is the denim blue BC151NV, and Gizmodo and Tom’s Guide both put the Amazon price near $40 ahead of Black Friday.
What is the Ninja Blast?
It is a single serve blender that you carry with you. The vessel is both the blending jar and the cup, and the motor base has a battery, so no wall outlet is needed while you blend. According to Ninja’s page, the specs are:
- Capacity: 18 oz vessel
- Battery: 7.4 V lithium-ion, 1 battery included
- Charging: USB-C, with a USB-C cable included
- Parts: lid and vessel are BPA free and dishwasher safe
- Size: 3.54 in L x 3.54 in W x 10.71 in H
- Weight: 1.74 lbs
- Warranty: 1-year limited
Ninja says the Blast handles fresh or frozen ingredients and ice, blends with one touch instead of separate power and blend buttons, and can liquify whole fruits and vegetables. It also says the one-handed sip lid and hinged carry handle make it easy to take along, and that the vessel fits in a cup holder. Gizmodo adds that the stainless steel BlastBlade crushes ice and that the base can charge from a wall charger, a laptop, a power bank or a vehicle.

Why is the Ninja Blast trending now?
Early Black Friday pricing is the reason. Gizmodo’s November 2 story called the Amazon price a drop of $30 from a $70 list price, and a day later Tom’s Guide included the blender at $39 in its roundup of 21 home and kitchen appliances to shop before Black Friday. Deal sites such as Freestufffinder and Dealsfinders also posted it at about the same price in early November.
Gizmodo explains the appeal in plain terms: it fits in a bag, it works anywhere with no outlet, and the spill-proof vessel doubles as your cup. For a person who makes a protein shake at the gym or a smoothie at a desk, that is the whole pitch.
How much does it cost?
Prices come from three places and differ by a dollar because the stores and outlets round differently. All are in US dollars.
- Ninja Kitchen, black BC151BK: $69.99
- Amazon, as reported by Gizmodo on November 2, 2026: $40, against a list price of $70
- Amazon, as reported by Tom’s Guide on November 3, 2026: $39, against a list price of $69
No source states an end date for the Amazon price, so assume it can change at any time. We did not find a Canadian or other non US price, and we have not converted any figures. Check the Amazon page for your country and your colour before you buy.

How does it compare with the Ninja Blast Max?
The obvious alternative is the larger Ninja Blast Max. Amazon lists it with a 22-oz Twist & Go removable vessel and Auto-iQ Crush and Smoothie programs. DealNews tracked the Blast Max 22-oz at $59.99 on Amazon against a $100 list price, with that listing set to expire on November 24, 2026.
So the choice is size and features against cost: the Blast is the cheaper and more compact one, and the Max gives you a bigger cup and preset programs. If you only ever make one drink at a time, the 18 oz Blast is enough. If you want more volume per blend, the Max is the one to price check.
Who it suits
Gym goers and commuters. The battery base, USB-C charging and the carry handle mean you can blend a shake at the gym or in the office, and the vessel doubles as the cup.
Students and small kitchens. At 18 oz and with dishwasher safe parts, it is easy to store and clean, and it does not need a counter outlet.
Gift buyers. At the reported Amazon price it costs $30 less than the $70 list price Gizmodo cites, and it comes in more than one colour.
Who should wait or skip. Anyone who blends for a family or wants large batches should look at a full size blender, since this is a single serve cup. Shoppers who do not need it before Black Friday itself can also watch the price, because we cannot say whether it will fall further.
What is still unknown?
Ninja’s page does not state how many blends a charge gives, how long the battery takes to charge, or the motor power, so we cannot report them. We also could not confirm the Amazon price on the day of writing beyond what Gizmodo and Tom’s Guide published, and no source says how long it will last.
Next step: open the Amazon listing for the colour you want, compare it with the $69.99 on Ninja’s page, and read the warranty terms on the Ninja page before you order.
