Apple has put Canadian prices on its new Apple Home collection, a set of cameras, a smart lock, thermostats and sensors built with LG and Schneider Electric. Apple announced the range on October 13, 2026, and iPhone in Canada reports that sales begin in December through Apple’s online store, the Apple Store app and Apple Stores. A few products slip to early 2027, and no pre-order date has been listed.

Canadian prices

iPhone in Canada lists these prices in Canadian dollars:

  • LG Indoor Cam Plug-In: $279.95
  • LG Outdoor Cam Plug-In: $399.95
  • LG Floodlight Cam: $549.95
  • LG Video Doorbell Wired: $349.95, a starting price
  • LG Smart Deadbolt Lock: $479.95
  • LG Smart Thermostat: $279.95, a starting price
  • Schneider Home Smart Thermostat: $279.95, a starting price
  • LG and Schneider room sensors: $54.95 each

Thurrott lists the US prices as $249.95 for the doorbell, $349.95 for the deadbolt and $199.95 for the thermostats.

What the gear does

According to the reports, the cameras record up to 2.5K video and recognize people, familiar faces, pets, vehicles and packages. They keep 10 days of history in iCloud+ with no separate camera subscription, and local storage keeps recording during Wi-Fi outages. The doorbell adds a second full HD camera aimed at packages, and the indoor camera tilts away from view when someone arrives home.

The deadbolt unlocks as you approach with an iPhone or Apple Watch using Ultra Wideband. It also supports tap to unlock, a PIN pad and a hidden backup key, and it works without an internet connection. The thermostats use Adaptive Temperature, which adjusts based on whether people are home or asleep.

Every product supports Thread and works with the HomeView display, HomePod and Apple TV, and setup starts with a single tap on iPhone. Thurrott notes that Apple did not build the accessories itself: LG and Schneider Electric co-developed them with Apple.

What it means for Canadian buyers

The cameras are listed for the US, Canada and the UK, while the lock and thermostats are listed only for the US and Canada. Apple’s Clean Energy Guidance and ADT professional installation through Apple Retail are limited to the contiguous US, so Canadian buyers need to install the thermostats themselves or hire their own installer.

You do need an iCloud+ plan for the camera history. The reports name only its own online store, app and stores as sales channels, so third party Canadian retailers have not been announced. With sales still weeks away, it is worth checking Apple’s Canadian site in December before you budget for a whole house setup.
