Ring’s own US online store is selling the Wired Doorbell 2K for $44.99, down from the $79.99 price shown on the same product page, a saving of $35. We checked the live page on October 27, 2026. The page carries a Halloween savings banner but gives no end date, so prices can change at any time.
Canadian readers should note that this is a US dollar price on Ring’s US store. We did not find a Canadian price for this offer on the pages we read, so check the Canadian Ring or Amazon.ca listing before counting on the same saving.
The deal in numbers
- Ring US store: $44.99, listed against $79.99
- Product: Wired Doorbell 2K (newest model), also named Wired Doorbell 2nd Gen, in Speckled Gray
- Amazon US: 9to5Toys reported on October 23, 2026 that Amazon was selling it at $44.99 shipped, which the outlet described as a 44% drop. It said this was among the lowest prices it had tracked outside the Prime Day offers, which were just $5 less.
We could not open the Amazon page ourselves, so the Amazon figure comes from 9to5Toys alone. The Ring price is the one we read directly.
What you get
According to Ring, the doorbell records Retinal 2K video with up to 6x Enhanced Zoom and a head to toe view. The listed specs include:
- 140 degrees of horizontal and vertical field of view
- Night vision up to 10 m
- Motion detection up to 31 m
- Two way talk
- A weather resistant build
The box holds the doorbell, a universal mounting plate, installation tools and hardware, a setup guide and a security sticker. Ring puts the install time at about 15 minutes and gives a one year limited warranty.
Who it suits, and what to check
This is a wired model. It needs a 12 to 24VAC supply, so it suits a home that already has doorbell wiring. Ring says it does not support mechanical chimes, which matters if your house still has an old mechanical chime. It also connects only over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
If your home has no doorbell wiring, the battery models on Ring’s sale page are the ones to compare instead.
What it means for you
For US buyers, this is a direct price cut from the maker with the Amazon price matching it, according to 9to5Toys. For readers in Canada, the sensible step is to wait for a Canadian price before assuming the same saving applies.
