Amazon’s Blink brand has opened preorders in Canada for two of five new security cameras: the Blink Mini 4K+ and the Blink Mini Pan-Tilt 2K+. The announcement dates from October 21, 2026, and all five models are open for preorder in the U.S. from that day. No general availability date has been given.
What Canadian buyers can do now
The two small Mini models are the only ones with Canadian preorders so far. For the Blink Spotlight Cam 2K+, the Blink Outdoor 2K XR+ and the Blink Frontier XR+, Canadian customers can only sign up for an email notification. TechRadar likewise reports that those three are expected in Canada with no confirmed date.
Prices are given in USD only, and Canadian pricing has not been stated. Amazon tells shoppers to check their local Amazon site for regional pricing, so look at amazon.ca before you commit.

The five cameras and US prices
- Blink Mini 4K+, $79.99 USD: Blink’s first 4K camera, with a 115 degree horizontal field of view, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, an IP65 rating and two-way audio.
- Blink Mini Pan-Tilt 2K+, $49.99 USD: 350 degree pan, 115 degree tilt, night vision and two-way audio. Outdoor use needs the separate Blink Camera Outdoor Adapter.
- Blink Spotlight Cam 2K+, $109.99 USD: a battery-powered, wire-free 2K camera with a spotlight that switches on with motion.
- Blink Outdoor 2K XR+, $149.99 USD: a one-camera system with the Sync Module XR+, and a 115 degree field of view.
- Blink Frontier XR+, $199.99 USD: a trail camera style model, also sold as a one-camera system with the Sync Module XR+.
Person and vehicle detection on the Mini models, and Smart Alerts, depend on a compatible subscription.

Range is the headline for the outdoor models
Amazon says the Outdoor 2K XR+ reaches up to 800 feet with some obstructions, or up to 2,700 feet with a clear line of sight. Video can reach up to 1080p at the maximum range settings, though resolution drops at longer ranges.
The Frontier XR+ is built for the farthest reach: up to 7,000 feet with a clear line of sight, as long as the Sync Module XR+ is mounted outdoors. That suits large properties, cabins and yards where a normal Wi-Fi camera would lose its signal.

What it means for you
If you want an inexpensive indoor camera, the two Mini models are the ones you can reserve in Canada today. The three outdoor models are a wait-and-see for Canadian buyers until Amazon confirms dates and CAD prices.
Remember that features such as person and vehicle detection need a subscription, so factor that into the running cost. The Pan-Tilt model will also need the outdoor adapter if you plan to use it outside.
