The Insta360 Link 2 Pro is a 4K webcam with a motorised gimbal that follows you around the frame. Insta360’s Canadian store lists the Standard Bundle at CA$349.99, and TechRadar named it one of its top-rated gadgets in its October 2026 roundup after reviewing it on September 21, 2026. Here is what you get, what it costs in Canada and the United States, and who should look at it.

What it is

Insta360 calls the Link 2 Pro a flagship AI 4K webcam for streaming and meetings. According to the company, it uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor with Dual Native ISO, AI noise reduction and pro audio with four smart pickup modes.

TechRadar’s review lists these specifications:

  • 4K at 30fps, or 1080p at 60fps
  • an 83.9 degree field of view
  • a USB-C connection
  • a two-axis gimbal with AI head tracking, plus AI autofocus and HDR
  • a built-in microphone array with background noise cancellation
  • hand-gesture controls and desktop, whiteboard and pause-tracking modes

When the camera is not in use, the lens tips down into a privacy position. It works with the Insta360 mobile app and Insta360 Studio.

Price in Canada and the US

On Insta360’s Canadian store, the Standard Bundle is CA$349.99. It includes the webcam, a magnetic mount, 4 recognition markers, a USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-A adapter. The Get-Set Bundle is CA$424.99 and adds a carry case and a mini 2-in-1 tripod.

In the United States, TechRadar lists the launch price at $249.99, with Amazon and Best Buy both showing that figure for the black models. These are prices at the time of writing and can change at any time. TechRadar does not list Canadian availability, so use Insta360’s Canadian store as the reference for Canada.

What the reviewer thought

TechRadar rated it 4.5 out of 5. The reviewer called it a straight upgrade over the Link 2, with a better internal camera mechanism and sensor, and praised the picture quality, the tracking and the build. The criticisms were the high price, a lack of a lens cap, and the view that it is overkill for many people. Value scored 3.5 out of 5.

Who it suits

It fits streamers, teachers, presenters and anyone who moves around while on camera, because the gimbal can follow you or point down at a desk or whiteboard. It also suits people who want gesture control and a physical privacy position.

Who should skip it

If you sit still for video calls, the extra cost buys little. TechRadar names the Insta360 Link 2C as a cheaper option without a gimbal, and the Obsbot Tiny 2 as another 4K webcam with gimbal tracking.

What to check before buying

Compare the Standard and Get-Set bundles, confirm the colour and version you are buying, and check the current price at Insta360, Amazon.ca and Best Buy Canada before you order.
