The Bambu Lab P1S enclosed 3D printer starts at $479 CAD at Bambu Lab’s Canadian store as of October 29, 2026, and in the US the P1S Combo with the AMS spool unit is $479 shipped on Amazon. 9to5Toys, which reported the US price on October 28, says it is the lowest it has tracked for that bundle.

Why is the P1S getting attention this week?

Two things landed at once. Bambu Lab’s Canadian store carries a banner reading “Black Friday Sale is On! Up to $500 Off!”, and a US deal desk flagged a new low on the P1S Combo at Amazon. Together they put an enclosed, ready-to-run printer within reach of hobbyists who have been waiting for a price drop.

The P1S is not new. Bambu Lab describes it as a fully enclosed printer with fans and carbon filters for advanced filaments such as ABS and for odour reduction, and says it improves on the open P1P with a closed chamber and stronger cooling. That enclosure is the main difference from the open-frame printer.

How much does the P1S cost in Canada and the US?

Canada comes first. The Bambu Lab Canada store listed these prices in CAD, taxes excluded, when we checked:

  • P1S, printer only: $479 CAD
  • P1S AMS Combo: $629 CAD
  • P1S AMS 2 Pro Combo: $699 CAD, shown with “Was: $799 CAD” and “Saving $100.00”

The store lists free shipping, 30-Day Price Protection, 30-Day Returns and a 2-Year Warranty, and says orders leave a Canadian warehouse in 1-3 business days once processed. Only the AMS 2 Pro Combo shows a crossed-out price on its page, so we cannot say how far the other two have dropped.

In the US, 9to5Toys reported the P1S Combo (with AMS) at $479 shipped on Amazon, sold by Bambu Lab’s official Amazon storefront, against a regular price of about $550. The standard P1S without the AMS was $349 against $399. The outlet wrote that “Today’s deal marks the lowest price we’ve tracked for it to date,” which is $21 below the previous low. We have not confirmed whether Amazon.ca matches either price.

What do you get for the money?

According to Bambu Lab’s product page, the P1S offers:

  • A build volume of 256 x 256 x 256 mm
  • A tool head speed of up to 500 mm/s and acceleration of up to 20000 mm/s², with a benchy test print in 18 minutes, as the maker puts it
  • A 0.4 mm stainless steel nozzle in the box and a hot end that reaches 300 ℃
  • A build plate that reaches 100℃
  • A built-in camera for remote monitoring and timelapse, at 1280 x 720
  • Ideal use with PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA and PET, and capable use with PA, PC, ABS and ASA

Bambu Lab says setup takes about 15 minutes and that the printer works out of the box. 9to5Toys adds automatic bed levelling, vibration compensation and filament runout detection to the list.

What is the AMS, and which version should you pick?

The AMS is a spool feeder that holds up to four spools at once, and the store advertises printing in up to 16 colours with it. The plain P1S comes without an AMS, so it is the cheapest way in. The store says the newer AMS 2 Pro is compatible with X1 and P1 series printers, so it can also be paired with a P1S.

The AMS 2 Pro Combo is described by the store as better value because of active filament drying. The page we read gives no drying temperature or time, so check the details link before you buy.

Prices

  • Canada, Bambu Lab store: P1S $479 CAD, AMS Combo $629 CAD, AMS 2 Pro Combo $699 CAD (was $799 CAD)
  • US, Amazon: P1S Combo $479 shipped (about $550 regular), standard P1S $349 ($399 regular)

Prices were read on October 29, 2026 and can change at any time. Neither source gives an end date for the sale.

Who should buy it?

First-time printer buyers get the most from the Combo: the enclosure and the multicolour feeder cover most projects without upgrades. Hobbyists printing ABS or ASA benefit from the closed chamber and filter, which the open P1P lacks. Anyone who only prints in PLA and wants the lowest cost can start with the printer-only version at $479 CAD and add accessories later.

Who should wait: buyers who want the newest hardware. The Canadian store’s banner promotes a newer single-nozzle printer, and the P1S is the older design.

What is still unknown?

Neither source says when the Canadian sale or the US price ends, and the Canadian store gives no regular price for the printer-only and AMS Combo versions. Amazon.ca pricing was not checked. Before ordering, compare the final Canadian total including GST, PST, HST or QST, which the store lists as excluded from the prices above, and read the AMS 2 Pro details on the official page.
