Bose’s top soundbar is one of the most talked about home theater buys this week. The Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar, which Bose sells for $1,099 on its own US store, is listed at $845.99 on Amazon’s official Bose storefront, according to deal tracker 9to5Toys, which calls it an Amazon all time low. The matching Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer is down to $599 from its $899 list price, which 9to5Toys also describes as a new low on Amazon.

These are US prices at the time of writing. Amazon prices can change at any time, and no end date has been given.

What the soundbar does

Bose introduced the Lifestyle collection in May 2026, with the soundbar, a wireless subwoofer and a smaller Lifestyle Ultra Speaker that can be used on its own or as rear surround speakers. On its own, the soundbar is a 5.1.2 system with Dolby Atmos support. Add two Lifestyle Ultra Speakers and the subwoofer and Bose says the setup reaches 7.1.4 channels.

The main features, according to Bose:

  • TrueSpatial processing for a wider, taller sound stage
  • CleanBass, which Bose says keeps low notes tight without distortion
  • SpeechClarity, an adjustable dialogue boost for TV and movies
  • CustomTune, which uses your phone’s microphone to tune the sound to your room
  • HDMI eARC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and built in Alexa

The bar is about 43.283 inches wide and weighs 14.758 pounds, so check the space under your TV before ordering. The box includes the soundbar, a power cord and an HDMI cable. Bose does not include an IR remote, so you control it with your TV remote or the Bose app.

Why people are looking at it now

The Lifestyle Ultra line is new this year, so this is the first time many shoppers have seen it well below the price Bose charges directly. Deal sites picked up the Amazon listings this week, and the timing lines up with holiday shopping for a new TV setup.

Who should buy it, and who should skip it

The soundbar suits people who want one bar that handles movies, sports and music with Dolby Atmos height effects, and who live in Apple or Google homes, since it works with both AirPlay and Google Cast. It also makes sense if you plan to grow into a full surround system later, because the speakers and subwoofer pair with it.

If you only want clearer dialogue from a small TV, this is more than you need. A smaller soundbar will cost much less. And if you want deep bass from day one, budget for the subwoofer as well, since it is sold separately unless you pick a bundle.

Before you buy

Check the color, since the soundbar comes in Black and White Smoke and prices can differ between them. Make sure the listing is sold by Amazon or the official Bose store, and compare the final price with the $1,099 Bose charges on its own site before you check out.
