The Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition DualSense controller was September’s best-selling accessory in the US in both units and dollars, according to Circana data reported by Push Square on October 22, 2026. Sony put the controller on sale on September 15, the same day Marvel’s Wolverine launched as a PS5 exclusive.
What the controller is
Sony announced the Wolverine range on August 11, with pre-orders opening on August 19. The Battle Yellow DualSense uses the game’s yellow colours with claw-slash graphics. A silver Adamantium version with the same claw styling is sold separately, and PlayStation’s product page says both keep the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers of the standard DualSense. The game itself is sold separately.
Sony also offered a PS5 Digital Edition bundle with a matching controller and a game voucher at US$649.99, plus console covers at US$74.99. All of it was described as limited quantity.
Price in Canada and the US
PlayStation lists the controller at US$84.99. The pages we read from Sony do not give a Canadian price. iPhone in Canada reported in August that the controller works out to roughly C$117.99, and that figure is the site’s own estimate, not a Sony price.
Canadian retailers carry it: Best Buy Canada has a product page for the Battle Yellow controller that shows it as available for delivery, and iPhone in Canada linked an Amazon.ca listing when pre-orders opened. We could not confirm today’s Amazon.ca price or stock, so check the live listing before you plan around any number.
Why it is trending
Circana’s September figures put Marvel’s Wolverine at the top of US full-game dollar sales, Push Square reported, and the best launch month for a Sony-published game since Helldivers 2. The same report says the limited edition DualSense led accessories. Sony has said the range is limited and sold while supplies last, so the controllers can be hard to find.
Who it suits
This is a collector’s item more than a performance upgrade: apart from the look, it is a regular DualSense. If you are buying the game and want a matching controller, it fits. If you only need a spare pad, the standard DualSense does the same job. Expect stock to move around, and note that the Adamantium model and the covers were sold in smaller numbers through select retailers.
