The Marvel’s Wolverine limited edition DualSense controllers are on sale in Canada, and the Battle Yellow version is listed at C$109.96 on Amazon.ca, shipped and sold by Amazon. Sony’s own US store lists the same controller at $84.00 (USD), and PlayStation Canada has not published a price on its page.
Sony made the two controllers, Battle Yellow and Adamantium, for PlayStation 5 players who want the look of the Wolverine release on their desk. PlayStation says the whole range has been available since September 15, 2026, and Amazon.ca currently lists both colours.
What do the two controllers offer?
Both are standard DualSense controllers in special paint, so the feature set matches the regular model. Per the PlayStation Direct page, the Battle Yellow one has:
- Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, which can need a USB connection and depend on game support
- A built-in microphone for online chat, which needs an internet connection and a PlayStation Network account
- A built-in battery and a USB-C port for charging, with no cable in the box
- Touch pad and motion sensor support in compatible games
- Support for PlayStation 5, PC, Mac and mobile devices
The Battle Yellow design uses black and yellow with claw slashes, which PlayStation describes as a furious slash look. The Adamantium edition has a premium metallic finish and see-through claw marks, according to PlayStation Canada. The in-box contents are the controller and a user manual, so budget for a cable if you do not own one.
Apple device owners should note the requirements: macOS 11.3, iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5 or tvOS 14.5 or later.
Why is it trending right now?
The controllers are tied to Marvel’s Wolverine, and they are selling. The Amazon.ca page for the Battle Yellow model shows a Best Sellers Rank of #736 in Video Games, and the Adamantium model sits at #4,976. Best Buy Canada’s matching PS5 Digital Edition Battle Yellow console bundle (web code 20070010) is listed as sold out online.
The Outer Haven reported that pre-orders opened through PlayStation Direct on August 19, 2026, with quantities limited and the hardware arriving alongside the game on September 15, 2026. PlayStation Canada also sells console covers with see-through claw marks that fit CFI-2000 series slim consoles.
Prices
In Canada, PlayStation’s page lists no price and no retailers, and says availability varies by region and retailer. At the time of writing, Amazon.ca shows both the Battle Yellow and Adamantium controllers at C$109.96. The Battle Yellow listing is in stock and ships from and is sold by Amazon.ca. The Adamantium listing carried no stock line when we checked, so confirm before you plan around it.
In the United States, PlayStation Direct lists the Battle Yellow controller at $84.00 (USD), with the page still showing a “Coming Soon” label. That is the number to compare with if you are shopping across the border, though shipping and duties change the final bill. Prices can change at any time.
Marvel’s Wolverine is sold separately from both controllers.
Who it suits
Wolverine fans. If you are playing the game, the claw design is the point, and the controller works like the stock model.
Collectors. These are marked limited edition, and the matching console bundle is already sold out online at Best Buy Canada.
Players who just need a spare. A standard DualSense does the same job without the paint, so check whether the extra cost buys you anything you care about.
Who should wait. If you are price sensitive, hold off until PlayStation Canada publishes an official price, because right now the only Canadian figure comes from a retailer listing. Shoppers who already own a DualSense can also skip it, since the special editions add paint and nothing else that the sources mention.
What is still unknown?
PlayStation Canada does not list a price, so we cannot tell you the official Canadian figure. It is also unclear how long limited stock will last at Amazon.ca. The Adamantium stock status is the other gap.
Check the PlayStation Canada page for the range and the Amazon.ca listing for the current price before you order.
