Shift Up has released a new trailer for Stellar Blade Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch 2, and it puts the NieR:Automata crossover content front and centre. The game launches on November 5 in North America, according to the publisher’s press release, which lists it as a simultaneous worldwide release. Because of the time difference, that is already November 6 in Japan and Korea.

What is in the Complete Edition

The Complete Edition bundles the base game with all previously released content. That includes the NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE DLC, so the collaboration outfits for EVE come in the box rather than as separate purchases.

Shift Up also lists extras that are exclusive to the Complete Edition:

  • A Stargazer outfit set for EVE, Adam and Lily
  • Half-Rim Glasses, a Quadruple Rectangle Earring and a Planet Diving Suit (Captain) for EVE
  • Stargazer and Fluffy Bear Packs for the Drone
  • 2,000 SP EXP and 5,000 Gold

Cartridge, price and pre-orders

The Switch 2 release is sold physically and digitally. Shift Up says the full game is on the cartridge, with no game-key card and no extra download needed. Insider Gaming reported the same cartridge claim from the publisher.

The US price is $59.99, according to the press release. Pre-orders are open on the Nintendo eShop and at participating retailers.

Pre-order buyers get an early unlock of the Planet Diving Suit (White Edition), Classic Round Glasses and Ear Armor Earrings for EVE. A Limited Edition SteelBook with exclusive key art is also planned, in strictly limited quantities through participating retailers and Panax.

Bayonetta outfits are free

Separately, the trailer shows the Bayonetta collaboration. Four Bayonetta inspired couture outfits for EVE are free on Switch 2, PS5 and PC from the same release time. Three are shown in the new trailer, and the fourth has not been revealed. Siliconera noted it was unclear from the early reveal whether the add-on would reach every platform, but the press release now names all three.

What it means for Canadian and US players

US players have a clear price of $59.99. The sources we read do not give a Canadian price, a Canadian retailer list or a Canadian release time, so check the Nintendo eShop and local retailers before you pre-order. If you already own Stellar Blade on PS5 or PC, nothing here changes your copy. The Switch 2 version matters most to players who want the whole game, with the NieR:Automata content, on a single cartridge.
