Shift Up has released a new trailer for Stellar Blade Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch 2, this time built around the game’s Photo Mode. The video, which RPG Site reported on October 19, 2026, walks through the poses, facial expressions and other options players can use to set up their own shots of EVE. It arrives a little over two weeks before the Switch 2 version goes on sale.
What the Photo Mode trailer shows
The clip, titled “Photo Mode Vignette” on Shift Up’s official YouTube channel, focuses on how players can pause the action and stage a scene. RPG Site notes that it goes over poses, expressions and more.
It is the latest in a run of short Switch 2 videos from the studio. RPG Site lists earlier trailers covering collectibles, the Boss Challenge mode, the game’s environments and the Bayonetta collaboration, plus a demo release trailer. The outlet also reported that the full release will let players turn off frame generation, and a Switch 2 demo is already available.

What the Complete Edition includes
The Switch 2 release bundles all content released so far for Stellar Blade, including the NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE downloadable content. Shift Up also lists extra Complete Edition bonuses:
- Stargazer outfits for EVE, Adam and Lily
- Half-Rim Glasses, a Quadruple Rectangle Earring and a Planet Diving Suit (Captain) for EVE
- Stargazer and Fluffy Bear packs for the Drone
- 2,000 SP EXP and 5,000 Gold
Players who pre-order get early access to the Planet Diving Suit (White Edition), Classic Round Glasses and Ear Armor Earrings. Four Bayonetta inspired outfits for EVE also arrive free on Switch 2, PS5 and PC from launch day.
What it means for Switch 2 players
The most practical detail for collectors is the cartridge. Shift Up says the physical Switch 2 version holds the entire game on the card, with no game-key card and no extra download needed to play. A Limited Edition SteelBook with new key art is also sold through participating retailers in limited quantities.
If you already own Stellar Blade on PS5 or PC, the Bayonetta outfits come to your version for free. If you are new to the game, the demo is the easiest way to check how it runs on Switch 2 before November 5.
