Hogwarts Legacy now supports NVIDIA DLSS 5 with 3D-Guided Neural Rendering on GeForce NOW, NVIDIA said on November 5, 2026. The update brings more lifelike lighting and material detail to the wizarding world, and it streams from Steam, Epic Games and Xbox with Play Anywhere support.

The same GFN Thursday post covers a launch-week access reward for World of Warcraft: Forever, two Ubisoft expansions and a November lineup of 24 games, eight of them this week.

What does DLSS 5 change in Hogwarts Legacy?

It adds lifelike lighting and finer material detail while keeping the game’s underlying geometry and textures, according to NVIDIA. Developer Avalanche Software tuned the integration with DLSS 5’s developer controls so the result keeps the look and style the studio intended.

The game also supports DLSS Multi Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction, which speed up and clean up its ray-traced graphics. Members can adjust their experience through NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 controls in the cloud.

Hogwarts Legacy is published by Warner Bros. Games under the Portkey Games label. You play a fifth-year student in the 1800s wizarding world, learning spells, brewing potions and meeting magical creatures.

Who can use it, and on what hardware?

Ultimate members get GeForce RTX 5080-class performance on PCs, Macs, handhelds, browsers, mobile devices and compatible TVs, according to NVIDIA. GeForce NOW handles installs and updates, so there is no large download to manage.

For the full DLSS 5 experience, NVIDIA points to an Ultimate day pass. A day pass lets you try Performance or Ultimate before committing, and its cost counts toward a first monthly membership.

Outside the cloud, an October report from PC Guide said DLSS 5 is officially supported on RTX 50 series graphics cards and RTX Spark devices, with RTX 40 series support to come later. Another outlet, iXBT, added that NVIDIA cut the DLSS 5 model by 24% to about 118 million parameters and reduced video memory use at 4K by 20%.

What else is new on GeForce NOW this week?

World of Warcraft: Forever launched on Wednesday, Nov. 4 and streams on GeForce NOW. Access comes with an active World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time.

GeForce NOW also supports CurseForge Addons for the game. NVIDIA plans around 100 of the most popular add-ons at launch, and members can request more through in-app feedback.

Players new to World of Warcraft without a subscription can claim a launch-week access reward on every membership tier. It runs through Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11:59 p.m. PT, is redeemed in the Account Portal, and is limited to supplies on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ubisoft adds two expansions: Tom Clancy’s The Division 2: Echoes of Central Park, which opens Central Park and the Upper West Side, and Anno 117: Pax Romana, Dawn of the Delta, which adds the province of Aegyptus. The Division 2 expansion includes a level boost for agents below level 40.

Games joining this week:

  • World of Warcraft: Forever (Battle.net)
  • County of Fortune (Steam)
  • CURE, A Hospital Simulator (Steam)
  • Leaf it Alone (Steam)
  • Planet Zoo 2 (Epic Games Store)
  • Probably Stolen, Cyberpunk Shopkeeper Sim (Steam)
  • RuneScape: Dragonwilds (Epic Games Store)
  • SpiritVale (Steam)

Later in November, NVIDIA lists Cyberpunk 2077 and Warhammer Survivors on Nov. 10, Main Sequence on Nov. 12, Volvy’s Adventure: Reslimed on Nov. 19 and Appulse on Nov. 26. Baldur’s Gate 3 on Xbox is also listed. NVIDIA notes that dates reflect store releases, and GeForce NOW availability can come later.

Prices

The source does not list membership prices. It says only that a day pass is available and that its cost applies toward a first monthly membership. Check the GeForce NOW membership page for the current price in your country. The World of Warcraft access reward is free for eligible members, while the game’s own subscription or Game Time is separate.

Who it suits

Hogwarts Legacy fans. If you own the game on Steam, Epic Games or Xbox, the cloud version lets you see DLSS 5 lighting without owning a powerful PC, provided you hold an Ultimate membership.

Mac and handheld players. The Ultimate tier streams to Macs, handhelds, browsers and phones, so these devices can reach the same look as a high-end PC.

World of Warcraft returners. New players without a subscription have until Nov. 11 to redeem the launch-week reward, but only while supplies last.

Who should wait. If you rely on a slow or capped internet connection, or you want to confirm price in your country first, try a day pass before paying for a monthly plan.

What is still unknown?

NVIDIA gives no frame rate or latency figures for Hogwarts Legacy on GeForce NOW, no stream resolution for the DLSS 5 version, and no membership prices. Independent comparisons of the cloud image against a local RTX 50 series PC have not appeared in the sources.

What to do next

Check your GeForce NOW account, pick up an Ultimate day pass if you want to test the update, and redeem the World of Warcraft reward in the Account Portal before Nov. 11.
