The DEWALT DCK250QQ2 combo kit, a brushless hammer drill and impact driver with two 4Ah batteries, was C$398.00 at Amazon.ca at the time of writing. That is 20% below the C$499.00 list price the store shows, and the listing is sold and shipped by Amazon.ca. It was in stock when we checked on October 27, 2026.

DEWALT’s own Canadian product page describes the kit as pairing its most powerful 20V MAX two speed hammer drill with a compact three speed impact driver. DEWALT Canada lists no price, so the Amazon.ca figure is the one to watch.

What is in the DEWALT DCK250QQ2 kit?

The kit holds two tools, two batteries and the gear to run them, according to DEWALT Canada:

  • DCD806 20V MAX XR brushless cordless 1/2 in. hammer drill
  • DCF845 20V MAX XR 3 speed 1/4 in. impact driver
  • Two DCB2104 XR POWERPACK 4Ah batteries
  • One charger, two belt hooks and one contractor bag

DEWALT backs the kit with a 3 year limited warranty, 1 year of free service and a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. As with every 20V MAX tool, the 20 volts is the maximum initial battery voltage measured without a workload. Nominal voltage is 18 volts.

How strong are the drill and the impact driver?

DEWALT says the DCD806 is up to 109% more powerful than its DCD778 hammer drill, a comparison based on rated MWO with the DCB2104 battery. The maker’s product graphics give the drill a max power rating of MWO 1050. The Amazon.ca listing adds no load speeds of 0 to 650 and 0 to 2,000 rpm across the two settings.

The DCF845 impact driver gets a 30% torque claim from DEWALT, measured against the DCF885, which the company rates at 1400 in lbs. The Amazon.ca listing says the DCF845 delivers 1825 in lbs of torque and 3400 RPM. These are maker and store figures, not our test results.

Small touches matter on a jobsite. The drill has a pivoting LED work light with an anti rotation indicator and a metal ratcheting chuck. The impact driver has LED ring lights and a 1/4 in. quick connect hex chuck. Both are ready for DEWALT’s Tool Connect chip, which is sold separately as the DCE042.

Why is this kit getting attention?

Two signals stand out on the Amazon.ca page: a limited time deal label and a note that 100+ were bought in the past month. Neither tells you how long the price will last, so treat it as a price at the time of writing that can change at any time.

How much does it cost in Canada and the US?

In Canada, Amazon.ca shows C$398.00 with 20% savings against a C$499.00 list price. That list price comes from the store, not from DEWALT, which publishes no Canadian price on its page.

In the United States, ToolGuyd reported a price of $369 at Acme Tools when the kit launched on July 1, 2025. The site said the new kits looked pricey next to DEWALT’s other offerings, which makes the current Canadian number more interesting.

Two other Amazon.ca prices help frame it:

  • DCK277D2 brushless two tool kit with two batteries and a charger: C$198.00, sold by Amazon.ca
  • DCB205-2C 20V MAX 5.0 Ah battery two pack with charger: C$274.99 against a C$379.00 list price

Who it suits

Renovators and tradespeople. The hammer drill adds a hammering mode for masonry on top of normal drilling, and the impact driver is rated for large screws. Two 4Ah XR batteries keep one on the charger while the other works.

Homeowners with a project list. One box covers drilling, driving, a charger and a bag. If a deck, shelving or fence is on the fall list, this saves buying tools one by one.

Budget buyers. The DCK277D2 kit at C$198.00 is a brushless pair for far less. The DCK250QQ2 is the step up for more power and the XR batteries, so decide whether those extras are worth the gap.

Who should wait. If you already own a drill and impact driver you like, a kit adds little. If the deal timer on the page runs out, the price may return to the C$499.00 list level.

What is still unknown

DEWALT Canada has not published a price for the kit, so there is no official figure to compare against. Amazon.ca says only that the deal is limited time. We also have no word on whether Canadian Tire, Home Depot Canada or other retailers will match the price.

Before you order, open the DEWALT Canada page to confirm the kit contents match the listing, then check the deal timer on the Amazon.ca page.
