EA has released Title Update v1.1.0 for EA SPORTS FC 27. The patch notes were published on October 27, 2026, and the update is aimed mostly at Career Mode, Ultimate Team and The Grounds. According to the notes, it includes no gameplay balance and tuning changes.
Career Mode
Career Mode gets the most visible changes:
- Team Management has visual updates, which the notes describe as “cleaner navigation and better readability”
- Manager Career adds settings for Press Conferences and for how often they appear
- The Unexpected Events setting can now be changed in an existing save, so players do not need to start over
- Player Career Rivalries gain two new objective types, Consistency and Match Limit
Athlon Sports, which covered the update ahead of release, also lists clearer reasons when clubs and players reject transfer offers, and salary demands that take performance bonuses into account. EA also lists many Manager Career bug fixes.
Ultimate Team and The Grounds
In Ultimate Team, Squad Building Challenge filters now stay in place across consecutive SBCs, and opening packs takes less time. Fixes cover Gallery navigation and notifications, goal net and pitch colour display, and a handful of menu and match glitches.
The Grounds receives fixes for matchmaking, Live Events, Bucket Ball and Bocce Ball, and Street Football free kicks, along with menu and party problems. Athlon Sports adds that EA says more Grounds and Clubs features are in development, with details to come.
General fixes
A Claim All button now appears on objective screens. Many assets were updated, and EA lists stability, audio, controller and PC display fixes. Two gameplay bugs are called out: a tutorial softlock and a PC goalkeeper mouse freeze.
What it means for you
The update is a quality of life and bug fix release, not a gameplay patch. If you were waiting for changes to how matches play, the notes offer none. Athlon Sports and Forbes both report that EA plans developer notes on gameplay later this week, but no specific adjustments have been confirmed.
For Career Mode players the useful part is the new control over Press Conferences and Unexpected Events, since it works in existing saves. Ultimate Team players should notice the persistent SBC filters and the faster pack reveal right away.
The notes name no region specific changes, and EA has not published separate Canadian or US details. PC players on Steam can find the same notes in the game’s news feed.
