Amazon.ca is selling the JBL Live 770NC wireless noise cancelling headphones for $129.98 in Canadian dollars, as we saw on October 26, 2026. JBL’s Canadian store shows a regular price of $299.98 for the same headphones and currently sells them at $129.98 too.

What the headphones offer

According to the Amazon.ca listing, the Live 770NC uses 40mm drivers with JBL Spatial Sound, Bluetooth 5.3 and True Adaptive Noise Cancelling with four noise-sensing mics. A Smart Ambient mode lets in outside sound when you need it.

Battery claims are the headline. JBL lists up to 65 hours with Bluetooth on and noise cancelling off, and up to 50 hours of wireless listening. A full recharge over USB Type-C takes as little as 2 hours, and a quick 5-minute charge gives 4 additional hours of music. The headphones pause when you take them off, connect to more than one device at a time, and use 2 beamforming microphones for calls. A fabric headband, a carrying pouch and the free JBL Headphones app are part of the package.

Gizmodo reviewed the headphones in 2024 and gave a mixed verdict. It praised the long battery life, the comfortable fit and the bass, but found that the noise cancelling does not block everything and that the build feels cheap. The review also noted the weight of 256 grams.

What it means for you

At this price, the Live 770NC is a long-battery, bass-forward pair for commuting, study and calls. If you want strong noise cancelling on a loud train or subway, Gizmodo’s comments suggest you keep your expectations in check.

Before you buy:

  • Choose the colour you want and confirm the price shown for that colour
  • Remember the 65 hours figure applies with noise cancelling off, so expect less with it on
  • Note that the box includes a pouch, not a hard case
  • Compare the price with ca.jbl.com on the day you order, since both stores can change prices without notice

We compare the price with JBL’s own list price of $299.98, not with a store’s crossed out figure. Amazon.ca shows the same list price.
