Queen’s Domain, a retro-fantasy action RPG, is available today on Xbox Series X|S, listed at $19.99 with $16.99 shown as the current price on Xbox Wire. You play a lone warrior washed up on the monster-infested Isle of Neasied, searching for your father and the dark heart of the island.

Future Friends Games publishes the game, and the Steam listing names Freshly Baked Games LLC as the developer. It launched on October 30, 2026. The publisher describes it as a labour of love from a small, passionate team.

What is Queen’s Domain?

Queen’s Domain is a retro-fantasy action RPG set on an interconnected, labyrinthine island where secrets and dangers sit around every corner. Your weapon is the Legendary Holy Sword Endu, which doubles as a traversal tool: you use it to fly from platform to platform, and upgrades let you fly further.

Combat is action-oriented. It uses a classic stamina meter, powerful charge attacks, weapon specific special attacks and secondary throwing weapons.

How much does Queen’s Domain cost in Canada and the US?

The Xbox Wire page lists the game at $19.99, with $16.99 shown as the current price. Those are US dollar figures, and the page does not say how long the lower price lasts.

The Steam listing for the PC version shows CDN$ 24.99 in Canada, with CDN$ 21.24 after a 15% discount at the time of writing. The US Steam listing shows $19.99 and $16.99. We have not seen a Canadian price for the Xbox version, so check the Xbox store in your region before buying. Prices can change at any time.

What tips do the developers give new players?

The team shared a short list of beginner advice for launch day:

  • Practise dashing with your sword, because it is used for platforming as well as fighting.
  • Treat each fight like a dance: learn enemy attack patterns, study the bestiary for weaknesses and bring the right weapon.
  • Explore off the main path, since the game rewards curiosity with hidden treasure and secret routes. According to the team, the dead sometimes leave hints for the living.
  • Equip a favourite throwable weapon and watch for enemies from above and from any angle.
  • Weapons level up with use, so if you are stuck, go back and train your weapon of choice.

Who it suits

Fans of retro action RPGs. The stamina meter, charge attacks and a large pool of melee weapons point to a deliberate, pattern-based style of combat rather than button mashing.

Explorers. The interconnected map and hidden paths suit people who like poking into every corner and finding secrets on their own.

Xbox owners who want a longer game at a modest listed price. The publisher quotes dozens of hours of adventuring, and the listed price is $19.99.

Players who dislike punishing games. The team’s own tips warn that careless play is punished even by minor enemies, so expect to learn by losing a few fights.

What is still unknown?

The sources we read do not give a Canadian price for the Xbox version, the end date of the $16.99 price or the download size. We also have no independent review scores yet, so the quality of the combat and level design is the publisher’s description only.

Your next step is simple: open the Xbox store or the Steam page for Queen’s Domain, check the price in your own currency, and keep the beginner tips above in mind before your first fight on the Isle of Neasied.
