Titan Quest II can now be pre-ordered on Xbox Series X|S, and the full release lands on January 19, 2027. The standard edition costs $59.99 in the listing Xbox Wire published, and both editions include 96 hours of early access.
THQ Nordic and developer Grimlore Games announced the pre-orders on October 29, 2026. The action RPG has been in Early Access on PC since August 2025, and the Xbox launch comes with the finished story.
What kind of game is Titan Quest II?
It is a sequel to the original Titan Quest, set in a reimagined ancient Greece. You are trying to stop Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution, who is corrupting the Threads of Fate. According to THQ Nordic, the game is handcrafted and rooted in Greek myth.
- Setting: sunlit coasts, the Arkadian Plains, the Wild Lands and Mount Olympus
- Enemies: centaurs, gryphons, cyclopes, harpies, sirens and more
- Co-op: online multiplayer so friends can take on Nemesis together
- Exploration: hidden groves, dark dungeons and World Quests you finish by simply finding them

How do the Masteries work?
You pick two of six Masteries and merge them into a hybrid class. The six are Earth, Storm, Warfare, Rogue, Forge and Spirit, and any can be paired with any other, which gives 15 combinations before gear enters the picture.
- Earth: fire and stone for area damage
- Storm: lightning and frost for battlefield control
- Warfare: raw physical strength
- Rogue: poison and piercing blades from the shadows
- Forge: reinforced gear mid fight, blade traps, sentry turrets and automatons
- Spirit: summoned dead and spells powered by your hero’s life force
Skills carry modifiers that can change how they behave, and you can respec at any time for a little gold. Any hero can use any weapon or armour, so full plate with a frost staff is allowed.

How does combat and loot feel?
THQ Nordic describes the combat as deliberate rather than frantic. Enemies fight in factions and combine abilities, so dodging and positioning count. Health potions refill as you deal damage. Rituals let you set the difficulty yourself, and the studio quotes IGN Germany calling the Early Access build “the ARPG for everyone who finds Diablo too hectic.”
Loot is built around purpose. You can socket Charms and Relics and use crafting to reroll, add or upgrade affixes.

Prices: what does it cost in Canada and the US?
The Xbox Wire post lists US dollar and euro prices only. No Canadian dollar price or Canadian retailer was given, so check the Xbox store in Canada before you commit.
| Edition | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $59.99 | Cosmic Turtle Companion, 96 hours of early access |
| Ultimate | $79.99 | Everything in Standard, plus the original Titan Quest, Ragnarök and Atlantis, playable right away |
Owners of the original Titan Quest on Xbox get a 10% loyalty discount on the Standard Edition. The 96 hours of early access means you can start as early as January 15, 2027. For comparison, Gematsu reported a PC price of $49.99, so the console price is higher than the PC one.

Who it suits
Fans of the original Titan Quest. The Ultimate Edition hands over the first game and both expansions immediately, which doubles as a warm up for the sequel.
Players who like build tinkering. Two Masteries, skill modifiers, attributes, sockets and crafting give plenty to experiment with, and respeccing keeps mistakes cheap.
Co-op groups. Online multiplayer is part of the package, so a regular group of friends gets a full campaign to share.
Anyone who finds Diablo style games too fast. The slower, positioning based combat is the pitch, though that is the publisher’s own description.

What is still unknown?
The post gives no file size, no performance modes and no Canadian price. Those details should show up on the Xbox store listing.
What to do next
Open the Titan Quest II page on the Xbox store, confirm your price in Canadian dollars, and mark January 15, 2027 if you want the early access window.
