ARC Raiders received Live Update 2.3.0 on October 27, 2026. The patch adds a new player project called Souls Offering, rebalances a handful of items, reworks parts of the Frigate and the Emperor, and brings roughly 100 bug fixes, according to the official patch notes and a report from Insider Gaming. Players restart the game to download it, and the notes list no maintenance window.

Souls Offering and the new schedule

Souls Offering is the update’s new player project. The developer describes it as a moment to pause and remember fallen Raiders, and says each offering is unique, with everyone who takes part sharing in it.

The notes also change the rhythm of updates: fixes return to a three-week cycle, while store updates move to a weekly cycle. Insider Gaming points out that fixes had been shipping weekly after the Frozen Trail launch.

Item and gameplay changes

  • Heavy Shield base charge goes from 80 to 90, which the developer says gives slightly better survivability against most weapons.
  • Flame Spray damage rises from 10 to 13 per second, and its durability drain is cut by 50%.
  • Firefly Burner now activates on impact when thrown, leaves a fire trail and explodes after about 3 seconds. Before, it had to be shot.
  • Adrenaline Shot can be used at max stamina. Its effect does not stack, and reusing it refreshes the duration.
  • Blueprints for the Dolabra, Bobcat, Equalizer, Jupiter and Vulcano, among others, can drop in any major map condition, with a slightly lower drop chance for that pool.
  • The Emperor Key blueprint drops less often from Redirection pods, with a small chance of enemy parts and high tier ARC loot instead.
  • Drop rates for furniture Designs had been inverted, and now rarer ones drop less often.

Barricade kits can no longer be placed inside solid walls or tight spaces, and the Grappling Hook gets a long list of fixes, including tether items now affecting players who swing on it.

Frigate, Emperor and maps

Pings near the Frigate now mark the exact spot, and players can ping it from long range as it approaches. Loot deeper inside has a higher chance of better rewards, and new visual hatches show puzzle progress. On the Emperor, containers near the entrance give lower tier rewards, with better loot placed deeper.

Pendola Pass gets collision fixes around the fallen Emperor, a gondola extraction clipping fix and the removal of shelter chairs that blocked looting. Spaceport and Stella Montis also get fixes for spots where players could get stuck.

Camera, interface and stability

The Advanced Camera gains Color Push and Black & White filters, and the Basic Camera has less depth of field blur for clearer selfies. A camera bob option arrives in Gameplay settings, and the Codex adds a “Times Revived By A Stranger” stat.

The Expedition Vault is being disabled. Players who bought slots receive Bronze Statuettes as compensation, and vault contents move to the stash.

On stability, the team reduced audio memory on Xbox Series S to mitigate out of memory crashes around the Frigate, added a workaround for a ray tracing GPU crash on AMD RX 7000 series cards, and updated the FSR plugin to version 4.1.1.

What it means for players

The notes still list known issues, among them the Raider Tool always showing the default skin, some quests such as To The Skies and Clean Hands failing to complete in certain cases, and some Xbox players seeing instability or crashes. The notes do not mention pricing or any differences between regions, so Canadian and US players get the same patch notes. If you stored items in the Expedition Vault, check your stash after the update.
