Annihilated, a story driven roguelite RPG from developer Death Kumiai and publisher Flashlight Games, launches on Steam for PC on November 10, 2026. The final trailer before release went up on November 5, five days ahead of launch.
The game was first scheduled for July and was later pushed to the fourth quarter of 2026. According to RPG Site, its Steam page has passed 150,000 wishlists, and a demo featuring the first boss, The Outcast, is coming soon.
What is Annihilated about?
You play the last survivor of a rescue party sent to find a hero’s party that vanished deep inside a cursed dungeon. When you reach them, each member has lost something important, and you can carry only one of them out.
- The Hero can no longer speak beyond two words, “Yes” and “No”
- The Mage lost her magic but kept her knowledge
- The Warrior now lives inside a doll
- The Priest lost something the store page hides behind a black bar
The Steam page says there are 4 routes with multiple endings, each a complete story of about 6 hours. What your partner becomes to you, trust, doubt or dependence, shapes the ending.

How does the gameplay work?
Battles are turn-based and built on cards. Every item you carry becomes a card with a limited number of uses, and enemies show their next move before they act.
- Stagger an enemy, then land a weapon’s final use to trigger a Fatal Strike, which kills it instantly and steals its equipment
- Every shattered item leaves a Curse, which you can spend to Defy fate and undo a bad roll
- If you die, you retry from the floor where you fell, and stored Curses can be forged into items
- Two battle styles are offered, timing-based or probability-based, and either one reaches the end
- The listing promises more than 100 weapons and items and hand-drawn illustrations

Prices
No price was listed on the Steam page when we checked, and neither the publisher’s announcement coverage nor the store page gives a figure in any currency. Steam shows prices in your local currency once the page is fully live, so check there on launch day rather than trusting a number from a third party.
If you want to try before buying, watch the Steam page for the demo that RPG Site says is coming soon.
What are the platforms and languages?
The Steam listing names Windows as the platform, with Windows 10/11 and 1 GB of free storage as the minimum requirement. Text languages listed are Japanese, English and Simplified Chinese. No Mac, Linux or console version is mentioned in the sources.

Who it suits
Fans of deckbuilder roguelites. Items acting as cards with limited uses, enemy intent shown in advance and a reward for breaking your own weapons will feel familiar, with a twist on resource management.
Readers who play for story. With four routes and multiple endings, the game leans on conversation and choice as much as combat. Players who like branching visual novels will find the most to chew on.
Players with limited time. A route of about 6 hours is short enough to finish in a few evenings, and a death sends you back to the floor where you fell rather than to the start.
Anyone who needs a particular language or platform. Check the three listed languages and the Windows only listing first, since nothing else is confirmed.

What is still unknown?
The price, the length of the demo and any plan for consoles, Mac or Linux have not been stated in the sources we read. Reviews also do not exist yet, so how well the card system holds up over a full route is untested.
