Segway’s US online store lists the Ninebot F3 electric scooter at $649.99 at the time of writing, against a regular price of $999.99 shown on the same product page. The F3 is a 20 mph commuter with a 450 W motor and a 477Wh battery, and the store page also shows Segway’s own range claims by riding mode.
Segway makes the scooter and sells it directly in the United States. 9to5Toys reported on November 5, 2026 that Amazon was matching the $649.99 price, and called it the best price of 2026 so far. Prices in this story are US dollars for the US stores and can change at any time, because neither store gives an end date.
How much is the Segway Ninebot F3 right now?
Segway’s US store shows a final price of $649.99 and a regular price of $999.99, which is a gap of $350. We read the page on November 7, 2026.
9to5Toys describes it differently. It cites a $1,000 list price, says the scooter more often sells from $850, and puts this deal $200 below the going rate and $50 under the more typical discounted price. Both views agree that $649.99 is well under what the maker asks.
| Store | Price at time of writing | Source |

| Segway US store | $649.99 (regular $999.99) | Segway store page |
| Amazon US | $649.99 | Reported by 9to5Toys |
What do you get for the money?
The F3 is a 10-inch tubeless scooter built for city commuting. Segway lists these figures on its product page:
- Top speed of approximately 20 mph, tested with a 165 lb rider on pavement
- 450 W nominal motor with 1000 W peak power, and a climbing limit of approximately 20 percent
- 477Wh battery, with approximately 8 hours for a full charge
- Range of approximately 44 miles in Eco mode, 31 miles in D mode and 25 miles in S mode
- Front hydraulic shock absorber and rear elastomer shock absorber
- Front disc brake and rear electronic brake
- 10-inch self-sealing tubeless tires
- Weight of approximately 42.3 lbs and a maximum payload of 265 lbs
- IPX6 water rating, and a 2.4-inch display in 9to5Toys’ description
Segway says the SegRide stability system helps with handling on sharp turns and slippery roads, and the scooter supports Apple Find My so you can locate it from an Apple device after pairing it in the Segway-Ninebot app. Segway also lists Bluetooth auto unlock and a locking distance you can set, according to its store page.
The 44 mile figure is the maker’s number for Eco mode at 9 mph. Expect less at the full 20 mph, and less again with a heavier rider, hills or cold weather.
What should you check before buying?
Look at the weight first. At approximately 42.3 lbs it is portable for a scooter of this size, but it is not light if you carry it up stairs every day.
Check the rider rules too. Segway recommends the scooter for riders aged 16 and over and at least 160 cm tall, and lists a payload of 265 lbs. It also warns that you must follow your local traffic law, since electric scooter rules differ by state and city.
Finally, compare the two listings on the day. Colour, shipping, return terms and any bundle can differ between Segway’s store and Amazon, and a sale price can move without notice.
Who it suits
Daily commuters. A 20 mph top speed, suspension at both ends and self-sealing tires suit mixed city streets, and the 44 mile Eco range covers a round trip for most commutes.
Riders who worry about theft. Find My support and the locking features give you a way to track and secure the scooter, though neither replaces a physical lock.
Anyone who wants a larger scooter without paying the full price. Segway’s own regular price is $999.99, so $649.99 is a clear step down for a model with a 1000 W peak motor.
Who should skip it. Riders who need to carry the scooter often, who live somewhere that restricts scooters, or who want much more range than the Eco figure may prefer to wait for a different model.
What is still unknown?
Neither source gives an end date or a stock level for the $649.99 price. 9to5Toys noted that an earlier end of October deal required redeeming mileage points, while this one does not. We could not open the Amazon listing from our checks today, so the Amazon price is as reported by 9to5Toys.
Next step: open the F3 page on Segway’s US store and the Amazon listing side by side, confirm the price, colour and delivery date at checkout, and read Segway’s rider guidance for your area before you order.
