What you are buying
The AeroFit 2 is an open-ear design, which means the speakers sit near the ear canal instead of inside it. Soundcore says the earbuds support LDAC and Hi-Res audio and come with a case that charges wirelessly. The maker quotes up to 10 hours of music on a single charge, extendable to 42 hours with the case.
SoundGuys, which reviewed the earbuds in October 2024, lists an IP55 rating, an earbud weight of 8 g and a case weight of 65 g. It also points to the adjustable ear hooks as the main change from the first AeroFit, with four positions for the driver. Soundcore’s Bluetooth connection and multipoint support are noted in the same review.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
Open-ear earbuds are a fit for runners, cyclists and office workers who want to hear traffic or colleagues while music plays. They do not block outside noise, so they are a poor choice for noisy commutes or flights.
SoundGuys was lukewarm on sound quality. It gave the earbuds a 5.3 rating and said the open design brings the same compromises as other models in the category, while still calling them one of the more affordable ways into open-ear audio. It also found the touch controls overly sensitive. If sound quality is your priority, closed earbuds with noise cancelling will usually do better.
What to check before buying
- Confirm the colour and the A3874 model number on the listing before you order.
- Look at the seller line, which should read AnkerDirect-CA, and check the return terms shown at checkout.
- Compare the price with Soundcore’s own store, which showed $129.99 CAD as the regular price when we looked.
Amazon.ca shows the earbuds at 4.3 out of 5 stars from 3,816 ratings. Treat that as a general guide rather than a test result, since it comes from buyers on the store itself.
