The Roomba Max 715 Vac Robot + AutoEmpty Dock is CAD $499.99 on iRobot Canada’s own store today, marked down from the CAD $899.99 the maker shows on the same page. Best Buy Canada lists the black version, model W255020, at the same CAD $499.99 against a regular price of CAD $899.99, with an end date of November 6.
iRobot sells the Max 715 as a vacuum-only robot with a self-emptying dock, so it does not mop. We checked both prices on October 31, 2026, and prices can change at any time.
What do you get with the Roomba Max 715 Vac?
The robot pairs strong suction with a compact dock. These are the main points from iRobot’s Canadian product page:
- Suction: iRobot claims 4X more power-lifting suction, and PCWorld cites a 30,000 Pa rating
- Brushes: two Dual Rubber Brushes plus an anti-tangle Edge-Sweeping Brush, with Carpet Boost that raises suction on carpets and rugs
- Navigation: ClearView Pro LiDAR and PrecisionVision AI, with up to 5 saved maps
- Dock: AutoEmpty with odor-control AllergenLock bags, up to 90 days of hands-free use, and a bag change about 4x per year
- Battery: 6000 mAH, LFP
- Size: robot 35.0 x 34.5 x 10.5 cm and 3.4 kg, dock 21.3 x 16.7 x 17 cm
- Control: the Roomba Home app, plus Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant
The box holds the robot, the dock, a line cord, one extra Active Carbon AutoEmpty bag and one extra regular filter. iRobot says mapping takes only 9 minutes, though PCWorld’s reviewer measured about 13 minutes in a home test.

What did the review find?
PCWorld’s TechHive section reviewed the Max 715 on October 27, 2026 and called it a capable, largely hands-off cleaner at a reasonable price. The reviewer praised its work on carpets, the compact dock and the app.
The review also lists real drawbacks. Hard floors needed a stronger suction setting before debris came up reliably, the obstacle avoidance pushed through shoes and a stack of magazines, and the emptying cycle was loud. It judged the robot good value at the US sale price of $499.99.

Prices: what does it cost in Canada and the US?
Canada comes first, and both stores below were checked today.
| Store | Price today | List or regular price | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| iRobot Canada | CAD $499.99 | CAD $899.99 | White model W255220, free shipping on orders over $44.99 |
| Best Buy Canada | CAD $499.99 | CAD $899.99 | Black model W255020, listing shows an end date of November 6 |
PCWorld’s US review lists $699.99 as the price when reviewed and $499.99 as the current sale price. We did not check a US store today, and we could not confirm an Amazon.ca price.
iRobot’s page describes the shipping offer as limited time and shows no end date for the price cut itself.

Who it suits
Pet owners and carpet-heavy homes. The brush design and Carpet Boost target hair and embedded dirt, and PCWorld found it strongest on an area rug.
Small homes and apartments. The dock measures only 21.3 x 16.7 x 17 cm, which PCWorld contrasts with the much larger multifunction docks on many robots.
Anyone who wants a robot that mops. Skip this one. iRobot sells the Max 715 as a vacuum only, so you would need a combo model.
Cluttered floors. Wait or tidy first. The reviewer saw the robot push into shoes and books, so cords and clothing on the floor are a risk.

What is still unknown
The iRobot page does not list a battery runtime, and neither store shows how many units are in stock. We have not seen an Amazon.ca price, so check there too before ordering.
