Nine games leave Xbox Game Pass today, October 31, 2026, and members who want to keep playing them afterwards will have to buy them. The list is Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Dead Static Drive, Deep Rock Galactic, Full Throttle Remastered, Grim Fandango Remastered, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Wartales and Wildgate.
Pure Xbox lists all nine for Console, PC and Cloud, and says Microsoft marked them as leaving soon in the official Xbox phone app. Grim Fandango Remastered was added to the list on October 20, after the first version of the story counted eight.
Which games are leaving Xbox Game Pass today?
All nine are scheduled to go on October 31. Another outlet, In Game News, published the same list without Grim Fandango Remastered, which fits the late addition.
- Day of the Tentacle Remastered
- Dead Static Drive
- Deep Rock Galactic
- Full Throttle Remastered
- Grim Fandango Remastered
- Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
- LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
- Wartales
- Wildgate
In Game News adds that the games stop being available through the subscription after that date unless you own them. It gives no exact hour for the removal, so do not count on playing late into the evening.
Why are the Double Fine games leaving?
Pure Xbox says Full Throttle Remastered and Day of the Tentacle Remastered are going because Double Fine has become an independent company again. The sources do not give a reason for the other seven titles, and we will not guess at one.
Are these games discounted before they leave?
Pure Xbox reports discounts of at least 20% on most of the nine titles until October 31. It does not give a percentage for each game, and it does not say which stores or regions the offers cover.
Discounts are a store matter, so the Xbox Store page for each game is the only place to confirm what applies to your account. Nothing in the sources promises that every title is reduced.
Prices
Neither source lists a price for any of the nine games, in Canadian or US dollars. They also do not state a Game Pass membership price.
That means there is no Canadian figure to quote here, and we will not convert a US one. If you want to buy, open the Xbox Store with your region set to Canada or the United States and compare the sale price against the regular price shown there.
Who it suits
Players partway through a game. If you are mid-way through Wartales or LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, check the store discount before the date passes, since the library access ends on October 31.
Fans of classic adventure games. Three of the nine are remasters of older adventure titles: Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle and Grim Fandango. They are the ones to finish first if you have been meaning to.
Co-op and online players. Deep Rock Galactic and Wildgate are also on the list. If you play with friends, agree today who will buy and who will not.
People who never tried them. Without a subscription trial, a sale of at least 20% is the cheapest way in, though only where a discount actually appears.
What is still unknown
The sources do not name the Game Pass tier each title belongs to. They also do not say whether any of the nine will return later, or what happens to save data and add-on content once the games leave. Pure Xbox did not publish per-game discount figures.
What to do next
Open the Game Pass library on your console or in the Xbox app today, look for the leaving soon label, and decide which titles to keep. Then check the Xbox Store sale price before midnight on October 31, because the reported discounts run only until that date.
