mo.Days, an iPhone diary app that builds each day around one photo, one color and one line of text, is free on the App Store from November 1 to 7. The developer, MoPlanet Inc., calls it a launch special, and says anyone who gets it during that week keeps it with nothing to pay later.
Tech site New Mobile Life puts the normal price at US $0.99. The App Store listing, which the developer also describes as having no subscription and no ads, shows the app as Free in both the Canadian and US stores.
What is mo.Days?
mo.Days is a journal where every day is a card. You open the app and today’s card is already there, and you pick a color that the developer says seeps into the photo and becomes the mood of the day, then add a line beside it.
Each entry can also carry the time, the place, who was with you and the temperature. The developer’s example is an entry that still reads 25°F when you open it years later, and a place can keep a name you chose, such as “that window seat”, instead of the map’s label.
Swiping sideways moves to yesterday, then to the same day last year.

What else can it do?
The developer lists several features beyond the daily card:
- Quick capture. A Lock Screen button saves a fragment without unlocking the phone, and it can also be set up on the Action button or triggered by voice while you drive.
- Evening questions. Each evening the app asks how the day went, skips what does not apply and pulls in what was on your calendar.
- Photo matchups. You pick between two photos, and winners move up from the day to the week, month and year, like a tournament bracket.
- Search. You can search by person, place, tag or stretch of time.
- Hidden entries. Private entries are not shown behind a padlock, they are simply absent, and the developer says a different passcode can open the app without them.
- Archive. Archived entries leave the timeline, search and photo matchups, and return to the same spot if restored.
Pulling down from the top opens week, month, year and decade views.

How much does mo.Days cost in Canada and the US?
In Canada, the App Store lists mo.Days as Free in Canadian dollars. The sources do not give a Canadian regular price or say how the November 1 to 7 window is counted by time zone.
In the United States, the listing is also Free, and New Mobile Life gives the original price as US $0.99.
The app is 22.6 MB and requires iOS 26.0 or later, and the listing says it is for iPhone only. The languages are English and Korean.

Who is mo.Days for?
People who want a light daily habit. If a full journal feels like homework, one photo, one color and one line is a low bar, and a day with no text still counts as a complete day according to the developer.
Anyone who takes lots of photos. The matchup feature is built to pick a best photo for each week, month and year without you sorting through a gallery.
People who care about who and where, not dates. Search by person, place and tag suits memories you recall that way.
Anyone on an older iPhone. The iOS 26.0 requirement rules out devices that cannot update, so check your version first.

What is still unknown?
The sources do not say what happens to the price after November 7, though the New Mobile Life reference price is US $0.99. The listing also says the app has not received enough ratings or reviews to show an overview, and the first version only arrived on October 20, so it has a short track record.
The developer recommends keeping your own backups alongside iCloud, which it says carries entries and original photos to a new phone.
To claim it, open the App Store listing for mo.Days, confirm the button says Get, and download it before the week ends.
