Microsoft’s indie game showcase with IGN aired on October 20, 2026, and brought a long list of release dates, world premieres and Game Pass additions for Xbox Series X|S and PC. The biggest reveals were A Game About Digging A Hole Together, a co-op sequel to the beach digging hit, and Magenta Down, a new sci-fi adventure. Xbox also launched one game during the show.
According to Xbox Wire, many of the featured titles will support Xbox Play Anywhere at launch, so one purchase covers both console and PC.

What it means for players
If you subscribe to Game Pass, the near term picks are Scramble Knights Online next week and Mouthwashing on October 29, with the Digging A Hole sequel arriving in December. Other titles in the show are sold separately, and Play Anywhere support varies by game, so check each store page before buying. Most of the 2027 games only have a season or a month so far, so expect firmer dates over the coming months.
