TrackCut: Ai Video Editor, a new video editing app for iPhone and iPad, is giving away its Lifetime Premium upgrade. On October 20, 2026, the App Store listing showed the Lifetime Premium in app purchase at $0.00. App deals site New Mobile Life, which spotted the offer, reported that the lifetime version normally costs US $49.99.

The developer has not said when the offer ends, so it could stop at any time.

What TrackCut does

TrackCut comes from developer Shahina Akter and sits in the Utilities category of the App Store. Its main pitch is blur and cleanup work that usually takes a while in a desktop editor:

  • Track Object follows a moving subject and keeps a blur locked on it
  • Face Blur detects faces and blurs them for privacy
  • Background Blur separates a person from the scene and softens what is behind them
  • Manual Blur lets you draw a region, change its shape, invert it and duplicate it

The app can also upscale video to 2K or 4K and colorize black and white or muted clips in one pass. For short social videos there are cutout effects such as glitch, retro, flashes and mosaic, plus frame by frame trimming, music syncing, text, drawing and colour adjustments. According to the listing, finished videos can be saved at up to 4K without watermarks.

How to get the free lifetime upgrade

  1. Find TrackCut: Ai Video Editor on the App Store and download it.
  2. Go through the setup screens until the paywall appears.
  3. Check the price shown for Lifetime. New Mobile Life says it should read $0.
  4. If the price is anything other than $0, the offer has ended. Do not confirm a payment you did not expect.

As with any in app purchase, the App Store will still ask you to confirm with your Apple Account.

What to check first

TrackCut is very new. Version 1.0 arrived on Oct 8, version 1.0.1 followed on October 20, and the listing had only one rating at the time of writing. The app is in English only and needs iOS 17.0 or later on iPhone, iPadOS 17.0 or later on iPad, or a Mac with an Apple M1 chip or later. The download is 282.9 MB.

The listing says the app contains advertising, and it does not say whether the lifetime upgrade removes ads. Besides the lifetime option, the app sells 1 Year Full Access at $19.99 and 1 Week Full Access at $1.99, so make sure you pick the right option on the paywall.

The App Store privacy label, which is supplied by the developer, says purchases, location, usage data and diagnostics may be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. The developer’s privacy policy says most of the editing tools run on the device itself.

What it means for you

If you make short clips for social media and often need to hide faces or soften a busy background, a free lifetime unlock is an easy way to try TrackCut without starting a subscription. Because the app is new and has almost no reviews, test it on a few clips before you rely on it for anything important. And if the price on the paywall is not $0, the deal is over.
