The Shark Stratos Upright Vacuum (model AZ3002) is $264.98 at Amazon.com in the United States today, while Shark’s own product page lists it at $529.99 before the reduction. Amazon sells and ships this listing itself, and the maker’s page shows $264.99 for the same vacuum in US dollars.
We checked both pages on November 5, 2026. Neither shows an end date, so the price can change at any time. Good Housekeeping, in an early Black Friday vacuum roundup published on November 4, 2026, named the Stratos its best overall vacuum pick and listed it at $265 at amazon.com.
What does the Shark Stratos AZ3002 offer?
It is a corded, bagless upright vacuum aimed at homes with a mix of carpet and hard floors. The Amazon listing for the navy AZ3002 names these features:
- DuoClean PowerFins brushroll with HairPro, which Shark says is self cleaning to keep hair from wrapping
- Powered Lift-Away, so the pod detaches for cleaning above the floor
- Odor Neutralizer technology
- HEPA seal and LED headlights
- Easy-Empty dust cup and bonus tools
Shark’s page gives a dust cup capacity of 1.5 qt, a 300 in cord and dimensions of 14.96 in L x 11.81 in W x 46.06 in H. Filtration is felt and washable foam filters before the motor and a HEPA filter after it. The maker lists a five year limited warranty.
How does the price compare with the list price?
Shark’s page shows the vacuum reduced from $529.99 to $264.99, and Amazon.com shows $264.98. Those are the maker’s own figures for the US store, not a crossed out price from a third party seller. We are not calling it a record low, because no source we read says so. If you want to judge whether this is a good price, watch the Amazon page for a few days before the shopping weekend.

Who it suits
Households with pets or long hair. The self cleaning brushroll is the main selling point, and Good Housekeeping’s testers said it prevented hair tangling.
Homes with stairs and shelves. Powered Lift-Away lets you detach the pod and use the hose and tools above the floor, which suits stairs, furniture and car interiors.
Allergy conscious buyers. The HEPA filter after the motor is there to trap dust and allergens, and the foam filters are washable.
People who want no cords limits. Skip this one if you need a cordless model or a small apartment vacuum. It is a corded upright with a 300 in cord and a pod that must be carried with the hose.
What should you check before buying?
Look at the colour and model number on the page: this deal is for the navy AZ3002, and other Shark uprights have different features. The two pages list different weights, 22.71 lbs on Shark’s page and 16.7 pounds on Amazon, so check the product details if weight matters for stairs. Neither source states how long the price will last or how many units are available.
The Amazon listing shows the item as sold by Amazon.com and shipped from Amazon, so it is not a marketplace seller, and the Shark page shows an add to cart button for the same model. Delivery times, shipping costs and tax depend on your address, so look at the total at checkout instead of the headline figure. Shark’s page also lists a five year limited warranty, which is worth reading if you plan to keep the vacuum for years.
Where to check the price
Open the Amazon.com listing or Shark’s own product page for the live price, then compare it with the figures above. If the number has moved, the listing is the one to trust, not this article.
