The Coway Airmega Mighty AP-1512HH, a compact HEPA air purifier sized for bedrooms and living rooms, is selling for $154.98 at Amazon in the United States, according to Slickdeals. The price covers both the Black and the White version, the unit is sold and shipped by Amazon, and no Prime membership is needed.

Coway’s own US store lists the same model at $239.99, so this is a clear cut from the maker’s official price, not just from a store’s own “was” figure.

What you get

Coway rates the Mighty for spaces up to 1,748 sq. ft., with one full air change in 60 minutes. Air passes through three stages: a washable pre-filter for hair and large dust, a deodorization filter for cooking smells and pet odours, and a HEPA filter. The Slickdeals listing says the HEPA filter reduces 99.97% of 0.3 micron particles, including pollen, while Coway itself claims the system traps 99.999% of nano-sized particles down to 0.01 microns in its own testing.

The controls are simple. A coloured light shows air quality in real time, Auto mode raises or lowers the fan to match it, and Eco mode switches the fan off after 30 minutes of clean air. There is also a timer for 1, 4 or 8 hours and an indicator that tells you when the HEPA and deodorization filters need replacing.

Who it suits, and who should skip it

The Mighty makes sense for allergy sufferers, pet owners and anyone who wants cleaner air in a bedroom, nursery or living room without dealing with an app. The physical buttons mean there is nothing to set up.

Skip it if you want phone control or voice assistant support. Coway sells that as a separate model, the Airmega AP-1512HHS, which is not part of this deal. Very large open plan spaces beyond the rated coverage will also need a bigger purifier or a second unit.

What to check before you buy

Make sure the listing says it is sold and shipped by Amazon, since Slickdeals notes the price applies to that seller. Pick the colour you want before checking out, and budget for replacement filters, because the indicator will ask for new ones over time. Slickdeals says the item has a 30 day refund or replacement window at Amazon. No end date was given, so treat the price as valid only at the time of writing.
