Calc Plus: Calculator, a calculator app that adds currency and unit conversion, tabs and a calculation history, is currently free on Apple’s App Store. The tip site New Mobile Life reported the offer on October 20, 2026 as a limited time free deal and lists the usual price as US $0.99. We checked the App Store listing, and it shows the app as Free.
What the app does
Calc Plus comes from Neue Software, which sums it up on its website as “Calculate. Convert. Organize.” The idea is to keep the everyday maths you do on a phone in one place instead of switching between a calculator and a separate converter.
The main features, according to the listing and the developer’s site:
- Live results: the answer appears as you type, so you do not need to press equals each time
- Currency and unit converter: convert money and everyday measurements inside the same app
- Tabs: keep separate calculations in their own tabs and give them custom names, for example one for a trip budget and one for a home project
- History: go back to earlier calculations and their results
- Personal look: choose from themes, button styles and alternative app icons
Privacy and requirements
Unlike some offline-only tools, Calc Plus does collect some data. The App Store privacy label says diagnostics and crash data may be collected for analytics and app functionality, but not linked to your identity.
The app runs on iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later and iPad with iPadOS 16.4 or later. The listing also names Mac computers with an Apple M1 chip or later on macOS 12.0 or later, and Apple Vision. The download is 72.6 MB, and the listing names English as the language.
How to get it
- Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
- Search for Calc Plus: Calculator by Neue Software.
- Check that the button says Get and that no price is shown.
- Tap Get and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your Apple Account password.
The catch
No end date has been stated by the App Store listing or the tip site, so the price can change at any time. We confirmed the free price on the US App Store, and prices can differ between countries. This is a very new app: the current version is 0.0.3, and the listing shows just one rating so far, so expect some rough edges. The listing does not mention in-app purchases or a subscription.
What it means for you
If the built-in calculator feels limited and you often convert prices while shopping or travelling, Calc Plus puts a calculator, converter and history in one screen at no cost while the offer lasts. If you prefer apps that collect no data at all, check the privacy label first.
